I bought an Ultra Street Fighter IV EU key, but it turned out that EU literally means European Union and not Europe in general. I managed to activate it by connecting via some free VPN (during which my IP address appeared as Romanian). What's funny is that the key activated as "Ultra Street Fighter - Retail RU", so what does this have to do with EU, I have no idea. But the seller is reputable if nothing else.
I have no previous experience with VPN activated games on Steam. Should I expect any problems while playing, or is this just an activation hassle?

if it registers as ru key it sure wasnt an eu key. that said first
second: depends if the region lock is only active for activation or running the game too. in the first case you will have no problems at all. in the second: you will have to use a vpn to even run the game within the first three months after activation

Thanks for the explanation. It seems to be working fine from my real IP address, I had more luck than sense.

The Steam Community section seems broken as none of my Hub locations seem to list the Discussion section anymore, they just go from All to Screenshots bypassing the old Discussions tab. If this is some new feature of Steam it is terrible.

I wish Steam would put a trigger in their update routine to NOT update the client while a game is running. Had too many crashes with the client updating.

That must be for outside of the US because in the US it is just 3rd party sellers that overcharge for them on Amazon. I remember around the holidays Paypal in the US used to offer the ability to directly buy them via their online store but not sure if that is still an option or not.

I have some weird bug with the Steam client. When pressing to watch a trailer in full screen, it's only about 4/5th of the screen and without the playback bar, can't move forward or back or adjust volume. And sometimes it fucks ups the whole client making the font very small. Nothing too serious but very annoying bug. Anyone know how to fix it?
Do I have to reinstall it? And because I had installed it long ago when I had different Windows, have to delete the whole Steam folder manually. Which folders to back up other than 'steamapps"?

Instead of just not working on a library of 1000's of games when I check my games through my profile on the steam client... I'm pretty sure that fancy new one will explode their data centers when I load up my list

they seem to do it in waves .... first was the chat , now is library and more after that - imo better than all at once , but they are pretty valvetiming it

My Steam Wallet is running out as well. I usually buy keys from cdkeys.com, they also have UK steam wallet cards. Will I be able to activate it? I read somewhere or imagine that GBP have best conversion rate to whatever people in Argentina use, is it true?

no because you CAN buy steam gift card on steam no reason to use a third party
