I didn't even have to choose any language settings. . .thing defaulted to English for me. In fact I'm sure it just read the settings from the Open Beta.
. . .also I wasn't able to apply that discount code but thanks to @IamAWESOME for trying anyway. 60 bucks is still a good deal for this game and Year 1 pass.

bleh, 10pm here game will allow me to play. Did fireup the xbox and it updated with a big ass download

Not sure how you guys are buying it via the russian store. I connect via a russian vpn, choose paypal but cant change the country from russian fed to US. Paypal fails with security issue.

I've tried doing this with various locales and nada for me. It launches, gets to the seizure warnings and then kicks me out to the launcher.
Any other hints? Using TunnelBear for what it's worth.

I actually had to do it via uplay and buy it through that. Using torguard so kept that up until transaction was finished. Couldn't do it via Russian web store.

Just buy it off the Russian website while you're logged in or get it from uPlay with a VPN. Pay with PayPal. Profit.

Problem I had with ru site was the billing address country couldn't be changed during checkout. So paypal would fail the ourchase.

Ok people, here is a step by step guide
1. Connect with VPN
2. Open uplay app
3. Choose the edition you wish to buy and press the checkout button (everything will be displayed in Russian but it's easy to figure out )
4. Once you press checkout there will be a popup window asking your name and address. It doesn't matter what you will use. I used my Greek address with no problem.
5.on the next step you will be asked to choose payment method. Obviously choose PayPal
6. Now the next window will display a cost summary of your order.just press the green button to get redirected to the PayPal page
6. Once you get redirected to the PayPal page disconnect VPN, enter your login info and just pay.
That's all, the important thing is to not disconnect VPN before the PayPal site.

It never worked for me, if I used uplay app.
What I used is hotspot addon for firefox/chrome, changed to Russia, go to Ubisoft store, I didn't have address set, so I created a new one by using www page for creating a random Russian address.
Then it worked. Could be different for others I guess.

Finished it earlier today. Story and characters were just filler. Found it worst than Anthem. Actually, it barely had anything to do with the game. Just a bunch of missions linked with settlements and some of the most generic characters.
The mission (visuals) are nice. Mainly inside and has some variety. The gameplay is pretty simple. Just cover -> clear -> repeat.
Overall just felt like an expansion/QoL update over the previous game.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

The game is nice... but it's still really just Division 1.5 :I
I've played it for ~6-7 hours now, still enjoying it, but I'm not getting even similar joy what I got from Anthem (flying mechanics -> something new to the genre).
Traveling is so slow, exploration is so-so (there are some nice things to find, but the exploration is mostly very 'flat'. Only few of the buildings can be entered, and you cannot get on top of buildings except in few specific cases (note that I'm on the 3rd sector so far only.)
I'll definitely play this to max level and grind gear for a while, but I'm not sure if it is going to interest me much further.
