Man this game is fucking cool. Only made it up to V so far, but so far the gameplay is super fun. Nero controls better imo, you get a lot more precision in your attacks, while with V you just pop devil trigger then spam all the buttons and you get an SSS ranking, but luckily its still very impressive to look at. Can't wait to get back home
Is there a way to switch between Nero's arm weapons without destroying them?
That's a veeery good question, specially since , in the demo, there are some environments that can be destroyed but ofcourse thaaaat's a big issue.. Not sure if the final version has a skill for changing arms or simply be careful what you use... That, or play a mission, check the arms needed for the Backgrounds, then note the order to later buy some arms..
....If there's no arm-changing function then damn this'll be long...

I wish I could play as V the whole game. The best character of DMC5. Especially if you like playing as mages\warlocks\sorceres in action rpgs\hack&slash games.
20 fps difference makes no sense. If true (i.e not isolated case) someone must have fucked up hard with the implementation.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Of course the number will be different for each rig, but I wouldn't think the 20 fps to be representative of most configurations.
Digital foundry said they will cover it in their PC video.

For this test we used our Intel i7 4930K (overclocked at 4.2Ghz) with 16GB of DDR3 RAM at 2133Mhz, NVIDIA’s RTX 2080Ti, Windows 10 64-bit and the GeForce 419.17 driver. Devil May Cry 5 is mostly a GPU-bound game so in order to enter a CPU-bound scenario, we simulated a dual-core CPU (otherwise the game was running with constant 144fps on our six-core CPU and it was impossible to see whether there are any performance differences between them).
Now while some users claimed that there is a 20fps difference between these two versions, we’ve discovered a 6-10fps difference between them. This performance difference will NOT be noticeable on modern-day systems and the only PC configurations that will benefit from the Denuvo-free version are those with really old CPUs.
Still, we can all agree that a 6-10fps difference is a noticeable one, and this particular game proves that Denuvo actually has a performance hit on specific PC configurations. Moreover, the Denuvo-free version, as always, loads significantly faster than the one that is using the anti-tamper tech.

Are those the same files. What maybe can crash the game at mission 2?
Is it just me or V is much stronger than Nero?
and maybe even Dante.
his super ability (Golem) is much better than Nero's shitty fire swords. In fact, constant;y pressing and holding a button to power up his sword and all, while moving around and fighting to just make a few strong attacks, seems to be really inconvenient. And the outcome is disappointing.
Golem provides
- superior power
- AOE
- CC
- distraction
And V can read his book to regain the points he needs to summon the golem.(or just regain them simply by attacking enemies which is better than pressing numerous times and holding a button)
I've just got to Dante and he seems to be better than Nero but weaker than V ..Although my Nero doesn't have much abilities atm compared to V.
Overall excellent game. Fun right from the start and end had few surprises. Loved it.
