Hey all, been a crazy 7-8 days for me here. Went out for a few beers with gf and friends on a Friday night. We were driving back to another friends (who was being lame not coming out) when tragedy struck.. guy random turned into us through red light in intersection.. so this was an 80kmh 40?mph collision. i was a backseat passenger and miraculously all my friends seemed to get through unscathed..
Well i had surgery today to cobble together whatever collar bone was left + broken stirnum. All and all im not in much pain and finally everything is over can just rest.
Anyway wanted to shout this out:
- Dont drink drive (my driver was sober).. just pay for a goddamn cab or get a bus.
- if u have kids, i would just put my CC down for their uber app and tell them to free for all use it anytime anywhere. I have pretty sturdy moral compass but fuk me i did retarded shit in my youth revolving cars.
- u can never guess what retard derp will do behind a wheel, drive defensively and be safe.
that is all.

That sounds really bad. I hope you can recover.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Here's to a speedy recovery, rest up and get well ! Glad nobody was too seriously hurt.
Damn idiots driving cars like they own the world and going through red lights like it's nothing.. was the guy under the influence or something ? Either way, hope he gets what he deserves.

Well, shit, that sucks. But at least you didn't suffer some more serious damage, right? I mean, bones can heal...

Wearing seat belt in the backseat is required by law in most countries, but so many people think it doesn't matter that much.
Anyways, get well mate!

Has always been mandatory behavior in my country, you can clearly see the bruised belt marks across the body (it sure did its job). I had a sixpack on my lap at the time that literally vaporized at the time of crash, do wear that belt if in the back seat.

Ya absolutely, only myself with a metal plate in the shoulder at the end of the day so good news. ^^^ legendary band there, best of Seattle from that era imo.
