Played the beta andplayed division 1 before.
The state in whih division 1 is now is that isn't a bad game and has some content.
Division 2 just seems more of the same. For me personally it kinda looks a little bit worse, just marginally.
I had hoped that they would have given us the game from the division 1 e3 trailer where loot seemed more important it is probably much harder to implement since people wouldnt stay that engaged.
Not saying that div 2 is a bad game but almost the same as 1. Maybe they ve added some stuff you cant see in the beta but for now it's kinda a let down. They need a different addition like when they added the survival mode in div 1.

It kind of grows on you. THe winter setting I don't care either way, gfx are fine. Good even. TD1 and 2 are very beautiful, full of little and large details.
I think TD2 is a lot more "alive" compared to TD1. I don't recall having so much stuff to do in the first one and especially not so early in, level wise.
So I think for me it's a buy at around 30$ or below.
Not at launch tho. I'll let it have its mandatory patch (or 3) and fixing of initial server issues and what not ^^
In the meanwhile, I'll be playing Anthem on my new 2080 (next week) hrhr.

Oh and that bug from the first game is back again.
Enemy throws grenades and you get stunned or knocked down, then the grenade explodes and you take damage. The stun just comes from before that so it can be a real problem when it happens especially for how damaging attacks are at this end-game state so expect that to really screw you over at times.
EDIT: Also enemies play a reload animation at set intervals or are supposed to, they do not reload as such or have ammo limitations.
It is same as the first game fully possible to see enemies shooting for way longer than they should have ammo for (Minute or two consecutively at worst.) and that also goes for stuff like sawn-off or double barrel shotgun users firing three to four times though the vocal quips and such at least alerts the player as to when they're actually reloading.

I never really looked into the Division but got a key for the 2nd one.
Is this a game were you can still play solo with AI or you absolutely need to play with people ?

I soloed everything in the beta, end-game was the only really challenging part but other players probably provide a scaling to difficulty to compensate for the ability to properly flank and not be the one target everyone else is shooting at constantly.
EDIT: It is a loot driven shooter though so getting geared up and the leveling up and replacing gear is a constant factor and then for end-game getting into various builds more thoroughly and various roles and more high-end equipment including sets.

The first game could be a bit tougher alone especially with the crafting and grinding requirements but patches toned it down significantly and you can even find the set piece gears and the rarer orange tier items now without delving into the toughest group challenges or the DLC stuff.
It's almost toned down a bit too much since I went from having played the game last almost two years ago to making a new character and getting fully geared up in roughly a week and a few hours per session each day.
(Level 30, World Tier 5 and Gear Score of 280 to 300 I think it was when I decided I had done all I wanted to and might return for the shield challenges and unlocks somewhere down the line maybe. Used to take significantly longer to get geared up.)
The difficulty when doing it solo comes mainly from the gear you have and not knowing the missions initially so you don't quite know what you are up against, how tank the enemies will be and if there's some boss and what type that boss will be. Leveling up a bit, getting some new gear and taking another attempt at it usually works much better after one or two attempts and the role-playing game lite mechanics and loot driven gameplay means you will often swap stuff around especially early game as you replace older items and learn new skills and get more tactical options.
A very recurring gameplay element is also that champion or elite type enemies and bosses and a few other variants have armor, this time you can break specific pieces and then hit these to actually do damage without first "de-tanking" the enemy completely which is a good improvement but enemies using skills and other abilities can still provide a challenge though I do hope it's broken in the beta how some of them just spam these almost without cooldown.

I bought it a month ago, it says "PC-DIG-THE DIVISION 2--STANDARD-WW" in order confirmation email, "WW" should mean world wide.

I am just surprised, that Polish is a supported language, but Portuguese isn't... or Hindu.

From what I've seen of this game (I never played The Division) it seems quite boring. A walking shooter that looks very linear. Perhaps I'm wrong.

The snow setting is better for sure, but otherwise, the game is moooostly the same, with minor differences. I do notice that weapons seem less accurate so i can't just headshot everything as soon as i see it but the character movement is more responsive now. Liking the side content more too, city feels more alive, and there's a lot of variation in the activities.
Overall it's Division 1.5, but that's fine with me, needed new content anyway.

Theyre so confident this will sell well so they added a free game when you preorder now.
Watchdogs 2, Far Cry Primal or Ghost Recon Wildlands.

I enjoyed the Beta, once it became more stable (they patched it). I enjoyed the game and it actually made me wanna buy it now. Not for 60€, but below 30€, why not.
