Looking forward to a BBC produced show again, the Netflix one was a disappointment. It was just some (mostly) beautiful scenes, just nothing interesting told. Everything was just "ooh look at this thing", next scene.

While the pandemic restricts our movements, wildlife remains free. In this time of crisis, the natural world can be a source of solace and escape. In the most extreme of environments, from the hottest deserts to the freezing poles, from the highest mountains to underwater kingdoms, animals overcome adversity to survive and thrive, offering a message of hope to humanity.

To raise our spirits, join Sir David Attenborough on a round-the-world trip to the wildest places on earth to see some of the most spectacular wildlife. The BBC Natural History Unit has brought together the most astounding stories from the Bafta-winning Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II to create the ultimate escape. The journey is accompanied by a thrilling new musical score, created by renowned composers Hans Zimmer and Jacob Shea, performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra and featuring Mercury Prize winner Dave on the piano.

That was great watch. His voice always is so pleasant to listen to.

Dude is 94 year old. For sure, he had the most interesting and fulfilling life by doing all of this.

A belated Dynasties episode. It was pretty good and some sad moments.

Next series starts January 3. Attenborough is on a roll, I wonder how many more shows he will produce before kicking the bucket Laughing

Looks like "A Perfect Planet" will probably air on the five Sundays in January and then be immediately followed by the UHD blu-ray release.

Who knows, maybe a remux finds its way to the internet before then.

In speaking from my experience with my C7 that I've had for the last few years, I'm going to assume that your C1 will at a minimum equal, if not have superior playback ability. Why not just play the files natively from the TV and that way you don't have to set up / tweak the PC stuff?

I watch all my files through Plex with the LG Plex app and all that is is a skin of the native player built into the TV. Excluding Plex from the equation, you could just put the files on a USB thumb drive and play them right off that and let the TV do all the work for you.

I use MPC-BE + madVR for when I want tone mapping on my non-HDR computer monitor. The C1, being a HDR capable display, would not need the PC's assistance in this scenario.
