They are not the models, they are random actors the marketing firm hired for a throwaway trailer.

So, the conclusion is what? How different is the 2nd playthrough with the other character? Mostly the same, slightly different, decently different?
In 2nd run the biggest differences are the beginning and end and the middle is mostly the same, save for Leon meeting Ada and Claire meeting Sherry. Overall less differences than how the 2 scenarios played back in the day, it sounds like.
1. Budget
2. It's clear they explicitly didn't want to make a remake (because of the pressure to deliver), so maybe they cut such things on purpose to both differentiate themselves and do something easier that meant less of a chance to screw up

Well this is weird. Playing as Claire and I get stuck in a Now Loading screen at the start.
When I enter the gas station store and she starts to call out "are you ok", it's like there should be a cutscene but it just goes NOW LOADING forever. D:

Runs at around 100 - 120 FPS most of the time
Hardcore is okay, but um, 10 headshots into a single zombie and they still don't die is a bit much!
In many cases it's enough to cripple them by shooting their toes.

I was thinking whether to start on Standard or Hardcore, but then I realized beside the ink ribbons (which is cool) it's probably gonna take a shit load of ammo to kill bosses and stuff and decided for Standard
Birkin V1 is killing me (9 shotgun rounds, 1 grenade, ~30 pistol rounds, no ammo left and still not dead), I think I might start again on the next level down, I don't have time for this
What are the options for when you run into this situation?
Like if your last save was a while back. Do they let you leave the boss fight or do you need to reload?
thanks, guess i'll do that with saves. i tend to just keep 1 file that i override, which is bad practice haha.
for anyone who is running into the infinite loading screen, cause is probably due to DLCs being downloaded while game is running. i had to verify game files and it redownloaded the entire game.
gonna grab that reshade because yeah things just look off in dim/dark areas. like there's a light brown fog
That reminds me how I locked myself out on my first Claire B run in the original.
Was poisoned and barely survived, managed to find some herbs to heal the poison but no green ones. I saved and limped my way unknowingly into the last boss battle with the Tyrant. With no way to go back and find some herbs to heal myself, I tried plenty times to fight him limping, but it was just impossible to evade any of his slicing attacks that way so I had to restart the run
In that regard this seems to be a really precise remake
