Onimusha: Warlords arrives on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam on January 15, 2019 with a high-definition visual upgrade and features that will improve your sword-fighting adventure! First released on PS2 in 2001, Onimusha: Warlords is set in feudal Japan and tells the story of the samurai Samanosuke and ninja Kaede as they race to rescue Princess Yuki.
Good news. Always wanted to play Resident Evil: Ninja.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Think I've had enough with Onimusha 3, and this doesn't seem to be much of an evolution at all.
This isnt suposed to be an evolution, it is the first game in the series, this game is top notch imo, it is what games of this type should be, challenging but not mental.
Nowadays we have all these souls clones that ppl even forgot how it is to have a game like this with a story and actualy gameplay instead of the lets get that 50th try on this next boss.
But to each their own i guess, im just sad that ppl settle for the same crap on every genre, beeing it fortnite, souls games, whatever, when there is so much more out there that is forgotten.
I was referring to the fact Onimusha began as a Ninja version of Resident Evil, running on the same engine and targeting PS1.

Oh, I didn't know this game was a reboot ! I just thought I kinda saw all this rather specific kind of game had to offer, as it looks really similar to Oninusha 3 in terms of gameplay.
I will give it a serious try on your recommendation instead then - it'd better not disappoint !
High-Definition Graphics - Characters, background graphics, and cut scenes have been given a high-definition upgrade to enhance the visibility on your quest to save the princess.
Widescreen Support, New Display Options - Both the original game's display (4:3) and more standard widescreen display (16:9) are supported. Display settings can be changed between 4:3 and 16:9 at any time in-game. Specific screens, including parts of the menu screen, are fixed at either 16:9 or 4:3.
Screen Scroll Feature - A screen scroll feature has also been added for widescreen display. The background scrolls up and down according to players' movements, showing areas that can't be fully displayed from certain positions.
Analog Stick Support - In addition to the controls from the original, this new release allows players to move using analog sticks. This added feature makes it easier to move instinctively and change directions quickly.
Easy Mode Available From Start - Easy Mode is unlocked for players from the start of gameplay, which wasn’t available in the original game. This addition makes it easier for both newcomers and those who haven't played Onimusha: Warlords for a while to dive into this world right away.
New Soundtrack – A brand new soundtrack and Japanese voices have been recorded to accompany the newest release of Onimusha: Warlords.
I'm thinking they probably ported it to MT Framework, akin to what they did for RE0, 1, CV:X.

The only thing I remember from this game when I played it on pc:
SAMANOSSSSSKKKKKKEEEEEEEEE !!!
3080 | ps5 pro
Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"
It's been like 18 years since I played the original but I finally got around to this remaster and had a lot of fun. Took me 4 hours to complete the main story without finding everything but it felt just right.
holds up surprisingly well and was a fun nostalgia trip with some of the english voice acting quality the era is known for. Never forgot that line "I'm so scared, Samanosuke!" which the princess says in such a weird way lol, and then there's the narrator pronouncing samanosuke wrong
I tried a bit in japanese later and that's some quality stuff, as expected. If you never played it before definitely go for japanese voices but I wanted the nostalgia because back in the day it was only in english here.
I had totally forgotten how you talk to corpses too (their spirits) just like in Nioh. Weird!
I'd take an Onimusha reboot or sequel right now for sure. The time is right with games like Nioh and Sekiro around. Hell, even a TV show or movie would be a great fit (too bad that never happened)
