Yeah, sure it was excessively violent, but there's a difference between violence (which can also be swallowed better by audiences when it accompanies action) and gruesome imagery.

"People getting rekt by Punisher" is maybe 30 seconds of extreme violence per episode. Do you expect to be seeing his gruesome face for 30 seconds per episode only?

Last season it was how he became Jigsaw and to be honest he is probably the Punisher's number one main comic book villain. I really do expect Jigsaw to die by the end of this season since we know it will end up getting cancelled by Netflix no matter how well it does.
Why would you expect some other villain, it was clear season 1 was Jigsaw's ORIGIN.

Fair enough, I wasn't familiar with him either, but I googled him once I finished the season, because it seemed like the origin of some important villain.

Wow, they really butchered that masterpiece music from Alice In Chains. What the fuck is up with all those trailers for 1 second attention span adhd kids nowadays?
Maybe instead of cutting the music into pieces they could make some more cuts on Jigsaw's face. It's gotta be a joke, his face was cut to shit by Castle.
I don't think Jigsaw is the only villain this season. The trailer does look pretty meh, but I'm not sure how much of it is the series' fault, and how much the trailer's (it seems really poorly made, just bits and pieces and out of context lines for 2,5 minutes).
1 episode into the new season and so far so good, even with the long boring romance setup with Juliana, that long fighting-shooting sequence in the end was amazing and paid the bills
I finished this last night and it was entertaining but the sort of thing you will not really go I must watch this again as it was that good. The girl has Jack Bauer's daughter syndrome and the doctor is also pretty cliché.

Amish Punisher was a more interesting villain then this version of Jigsaw.
We all know this is going to get cancelled since Netflix is not paying to renew any of these shows but if it did go one more season it probably could have been a bit more brutal since they could really have had a full Punisher season and not have to finish all these loose ends they kept introducing.
I'm 4 episodes in and it's so freaking boring. Still Castle playing a dad and no Punisher. And Jigsaw is a fucking mess. That preacher character is so cliche as well. Fisk would have been ten times better than these two clowns. This is definitely the worst Punisher adaptation.
