Sadly (because of a console), I have to agree with WAB.

I also enjoyed Dead Cells on the Nintendo Swift a lot.

Red Dead Redemption 2, Dead Cells, Spider-Man, Hitman 2, Return of the Obra Dinn, God of War, Yakuza 6.

In no particular order. If I had to choose one it'd be either RDR 2 or God of War.

Although the game is buggy as hell.

Laughing
Then again, it's the same site that not long ago published a bold Top 100 PC definitive list where Her Story was ranked higher than Deus Ex, Fez higher than System Shock 2 and they didn't even include Gothic 1/2, The Witcher 1, DA:O, JA2, Simcity 4 and many more that I can't remember.

Hmm, I have difficulty coming up with a 2018 PC game that I really enjoyed. Subnautica, did that hit v1.0 in 2018? Then that's my GOTY.

Oh, I forgot about Phantom Doctrine! Great strategy indeed.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

I bought it for 25 euros so I consider it a low budget game. It was a great experience, but not a single thing about it was innovative. It also had a lot of problems as you mentioned on your site.

There wasn't anything innovative in TW3, this didn't stop it from being a good RPG. I would say that Pathfinder's kingdom management is innovative in a way or at least it's executed better than in other games.

I didn't say Pathfinder was a bad RPG, just a low budget RPG.

Pathfinders still has some production value. A low budget RPG is ATOM, still very enjoyable experience. Very Happy Anyway, I think we have to get used with the idea that we won't get many AAA games that are quality RPGs.

Too much console peasantry in this topic. When RDR2 comes to PC, relatively speaking, it's going to be miles ahead of the console version in just about every way possible.

...except it won't, ever!, and that is unfortunate, indeed.

GTA 5 has the most optimised engine compared to what it achieves and the hardware requirements it has. It's also stable as fuck. The most impressive game engine ever for me.
