I guess the easiest way to do this would be to create an RSS feed? Does anyone know any RSS creation applications (freeware) and possibly some VERY VERY VERY low resource RSS reader/ticker? Something that fairly un-noticable until a new message arrives?

Couldn't you just use a macros to send a dialog box to all the pc's? or simply just put it on the intranet or set the homepages to a local page with the messages on?

Netsend is generally disabled on PC's to stop the latest "netsend SPAM THE WORLD" craze.. and as for setting up a home page, well yes, of course I could, but I would have to logon to the server and manually edit a file everyday.. too much work.. Having a nice client I can load, wack in some info and press a button is far easier.
I think I have found the RSS creation solution.. now just need to find a nice reader!

I think your missing the point..
Updating a static HTML homepage requires logging onto a server, opening a file in an editor, changing the code, saving, closing and logging off.
I want something which uses a server client system. So I open an application, enter information into 3 fields, and press a button. Cutting out half of the crap updating a static page would cause.

so you want to be able 'broadcast' the messages from a different PC? why not just setup an ftp then where you can just upload it to the directory and overwrite from there? Either way you're gonna have to be on a PC to do it and the way you're doing it seems like a lot more work. If you want to go all the way im sure it wouldnt be impossible to 'forward' the file automatically either i.e. on a time based system.
