The JAP/CHT releases (both NTSC afaik) are VERY playable to english users...its more english actually heh. The DVD size is around 2.5Gb, also I think you can continue with the data thats left on the memory card once you get the US version.

but is the menu etc in english or semi english  or crap jap :@

Main menu is foriegn language but career mode is written plain simple "Tourist Trophy". The rest are easy, First option is ARCADE, after career mode its the Replay Theatre, Game Options, credits and maybe one or two more things...its exactly like GT4, everything is understandable. More intricate stuff like deep tuning screens are harder to figure out so eventually thats just waiting for the english version to come out. Then again, most stuff is in english especially in-game.

man what amazing game! i like it so far learning how to drive still hard but once you get it its easy...
