Marvel may have promised more adventures for Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, but those adventures aren’t going to be anytime soon. There is reportedly a two-year moratorium on using the characters for non-Netflix series, even for Disney+.
According to Variety, the original deal for the Marvel Netflix shows was said to include a clause preventing the characters of Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones from showing up in “any non-Netflix series or film for at least two years after cancellation.” Disney+, despite being owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company, the parent company of Marvel Television, does not appear to be exempt from the contract.
Disney+ is said to launch "late 2019", so let's say a year from now. And I wasn't expecting any of these characters in the first year of Disney+ anyway, as that wasn't the plan.
So the "at least two years" is not as bad.
And if they really want a character maybe they can renegotiate (with $$$).

That 2 year clause is probably why they are canceling them fast after they finish their current seasons. Also with that clause they could probably film a season and just hold on to them and air them when that time frame is up if they wanted to have them ready to go.
Character appearances, not new seasons, new seasons are very unlikely.

I don't see any of these shows being resurrected on DISNEY, seem to violent for that. Maybe more kid friendly reboots further down the road?
There is a hungry fanbase. They can always tone it down if need be. Which isnt an issue. Just remove the blood vfx.
They can also release it r rated. They have a bargaining chip if they remove mcu shows from netflix and bring them back, people who are fans of dd, punisher and luke cage will happily subscribe.
Mayer is chairman of Disney's direct-to-consumer and international division, which includes ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney's upcoming streaming service Disney+. Since Netflix canceled Marvel projects like Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and most recently Daredevil, some fans have hoped that Disney would find a new home for them on its upcoming service, though there are reportedly contract issues between Marvel and Netflix that keep that from happening immediately.
Mayer was asked about those shows, especially if they would consider reviving those shows that Netflix canceled, and Mayer said it was a possibility. "They are very high-quality shows," Mayer told THR. "We haven't yet discussed that, but I would say that's a possibility."
Oof, Fisk is unbearable in the first 3 episodes I watched of the 3rd season.

According to a production executive, Disney has been warned by lawyers not to even think about developing new content featuring the characters of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Punisher until the two-year mark. The clarification is an important once, as it means Disney probably won’t be spending time during the next two years working on new material with these characters to launch new series in 2020. If Disney can’t even begin developing a new Daredevil series until 2020, then it’s going to take much longer than just two years for the character to return to the big or small screen.
It was in the contract that was signed by both parties so you can say "fuck" to both of them.
Although it's important to note these series wouldn't be picked up by Disney+ anyway since they are too graphic for it - unless they neutered them of course.
Disney said their mature content will stream on Hulu, and Disney+ will be for family friendly stuff only.

Why fuck Netflix? They are 100% correct. They invested the money into developing these characters and now Disney wants to cash in on the viewer base. Fuck Disney.

I had to look up what shows they did before and saw they created Covert Affairs and did Containment but being that it will be a Disney + show it will not be as bloody as what we saw on Netflix.
