I'm still thinking of a way less visible to do this because it's worth it. Fyi I suggest if possible to buy through Turkish store since it's a lot cheaper and also other AAA games. I think I'm gonna get like 3 or 4 games. Imagine the irony if I get caught given that I'm from Greece.
Same here i switched to India store like more than a year ago. And I've used my local VISA card with a fake address in India for the billing part and never had a problem.
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D / MSI Gaming X Slim GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER / ASRock B650 PRO RS / Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 / G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 2x16GB DDR5-6000 CL30 / Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB / SeaSonic VERTEX GX-850 850W Gold / Lian Li LANCOOL 216
I have used some online payment method with my first purchase after switching to India and after that I always used Steam wallet which I made selling stuff on Steam market.
Well...it seems that if there is a big % price difference between regions you cannot gift a game to another person. Didn't know that...tried the method of obtaining a gift card and then gifting the game bought to my main account. That didn't go well....at least I only spent 17€ for a 20€ card to test it so although it hurts it doesn't hurt that much.
The price for turkish region is probably going to change since the ps4 version of it costs nearly 50 usd. So if you're planing to buy, now it's the time.
Well like i predicted, they changed the price to 35 usd.
So no reason to buy it in turkish store. Come here uncle rajeesh.
Lol the difference in lighting is just.. different? And it doesn't even look that much better. It's just a bit different.
But whenever they switch that "RTX ON" the framerate halves. You can clearly see this in a 1080p (and a bit blurry) youtube video... that does not bode well.
It just looks like good ambient occlusion.

The key is in him saying that it's easier / faster to develop believable lighting with RTX. So it's more of a technology for devs, than for the gamers. It just works, whereas in the old way you have to manually fine-tune everything by adding fake, invisible light sources.
As far as I remember shaders also made it easier to implement the stuff they are good at, not made it possible. It was possible, but with too much of hassle to bother.
Personally, I find it looks much better with RTX on.

I think the lighting intensity is too high when RTX is ON. Maybe they are forcing this to create a better contrast for the showcase. However, the transition from shadows to penumbras is quite impressive. I still don't think the tech is worth the money they are asking right now, but it's the first step to a better visual fidelity.

We have threeoptions:
1)It gets super amazing and widely used and available. Every dev is using it and graphics looks great.
2)Every dev is using it and nonRTX lighting starts to look worse than before. The tech is very computing expensive and still only available in highest, most expensive cards.
3)New consoles don't use it - we are all safe, graphics don't move much forward and RTX becomes the new physx/gameworks as additional feature on pc.
