Isn't that what Dr. Strange saw? There's only one scenario where they ultimately win and for that Thanos has to succeed first. So they'll come up with some mythical device or character that will undo everything.

As soon as the bluray hits, I'll be looking for a cut version of the movie that removes Cap Marvel scenes as much as possible.
Saw the movie last night and fuck that shit. She does NOT get to come at the 11th hour and be the saviour.
Yet we all well know that it's exactly what's going to happen
After a final effort from the whole team of not really super-heroes, Iron Man will be dying, and just as he's closing his eyes, Captain Marvel barges in to save the day ! Through some shenanigan brought up by Dr Strange, they will fuck Thanos up and restore balance to the galaxy. Some characters with non-returning actors will "die", and everyone knows which. They might throw a surprise around for a non-important character.
The best part about this whole Infinity War arc is behind us, I'm afraid. As is always the case with those comic books, characters will always find a way to resurrect, whether it is as their former self or as a new alter-ego. They just don't die. Nothing really matters, and that's the most exhausting part about these classic comics.
Not really excited about this, we all know what's going to happen. I mean, what's next if Thanos wins ? Nothing ?
