I am not sure I want it even for free and in this yet unpatched state. is there a trainer or something to unlock everything? Kinda like universal gta trainers?
I just would like to have some fun with what's there but I have no interest in story and bad missions

Well it's obvious that jc4 is a quick cashgrab while they're actually concentrated on Rage2

good to see denuvo smashed hard, although i don't think i will be playing jc4. i didn't even bother with 3.
i don't know if i'm alone in this but i feel like the action open-world games are winding down, particularly if they are churned out like jc3/jc4 and farcry are.

All Just Cause games have janky movement and gunplay IMO. And just a spawnfest. It's just an explosion and physics sandbox for me.

Oh nice of CPY, probably won't buy it until a good discount by what I saw but now I can try it out at least and judge what I deem it to be worth it.

IMO: It should have always been mostly this and less trying to make it into some story.
Well, stringing up corpses in creative ways was a very nice addition in JC3. So, a bit of that as well!

Okay, i installed it and started it just to check it fast out and im surprised. It started at 720p and i cranked everything to the max @ 1440p (4790k & 1070) and went into the first mission and got a steady 60fps, even with explosions going on as shown in the pics below.
Will check tomorrow some more.

I've only tried JC1 and JC2 and found them very boring. They're like lackluster versions of GTA and Far Cry.

Doesn't matter. They already proved such system can fight pirates, even if it was uncrackable for only few months/days/hours. People are so impatient these days that even 2 days without a crack (probably the other crack too) and they can't take it without buying the game. That's why there are so many early access games where you pay much more than the full release price to play a broken game. The Denuvo guys already gone rich exploiting that and the devs/publishers can happily pay them again even if their game is not on torrent trackers for only 5 hours after release.
We live in the 'Era of the Huge Irony' and 'Baton roue' where too many people are walking with their naked wide open butts in the front and then complain why people/devs/politicians/animals/flying debris are fucking them.

Lol, "it doesn't matter" yet provably like last year Denuvo will almost completely try to update it from the ground up.
The thing is even with almost completely updated version they didn't managed to achieve the same amount of time and untracked games.

Of course they will update. It's their way of making money and every software that gets you money needs updates to stay relevant (even if just for the sake of updating as it looks like in the Denuvo's case). And if companies still implement Denuvo after it underperforms so much for the last 2 years then it proves how it 'doesn't matter' and as long as they are uncracked for few days or even hours they win.
And seems like the Denuvo team themselves don't care to adequately update the tech because they can still get big money for less work.

Surely they gonna update it but you cant expect it to be from the ground up, its allready a serious code and rebuilding it would take some time. IMHO they just change some stuff but the core architecture will and should be the same and with each rls the groups get to know the shit better. So in the long run i think its a lost race except they have a completly new Protection they are working on, which i doubt.
As of now just be happy that Codex and CPY are delivering, like MS Games and Denuvo. Hell, even VMProtect doesnt seem to be a problem anymore.

Yeah they are fixing up the visuals in a few weeks with the 1.1 patch but we'll see how that goes, something somewhere went really wrong here.
Some water effects are alright though but then it turns into some flat shiny surface and just looks off or broken too so it needs work.
Best guess is that they couldn't delay it and it got shipped out earlier than it should have but we'll probably never know for sure what happened here.
