Ok this one is really strange...
I was just sitting in front of my computer when I suddenly heard a very very low voice. As my sense of hearing is way above average I could identify the source: My desktop speakers!
So I maxed the volume (really very loud) and then pressed my ears on the right speaker. And indeed there was some extremely low voice! I could even identify the language he spoke as hispanic or maybe portuguese, it sounded a bit like a radio broadcast. What the hell is that?? Those are desktop speakers goddamnit! The next Radio is in the next room. And why this language? I live in Austria, Spain is more than 1000 miles away. Maybe some aliens trying to contact me? Please help, I had some weed today but its definitely no hallucinating Very Happy

Had the same exp with my 4.1 speakers, it did not matter though what the volume was on.

Bugged the fuck out of me when I had to sleep, could hear some low voice speaking, the speakers had an external aplifier(sp?) and finaly when I cut the power to that, the voice stopped.

This was also some foreign voice, but I did not bother identity it... too sleepy Smile

Your speakers, are they cheap?

I was in a friends car ages ago. The police pulled us over for a check. My friend gave the policeman his details. The call started coming over the cars cheap speakers. We could hear it perfectly.

probably the speaker cables were picking up radio frequencies maybe the speakers were incorrectly earthed.

ok this is funny shit... I had it with my old speakers aswell... only it whas 3FM ( dutch station )

It could be like how digital phones interfer with speaker systems and such. Or maybe your computer has gremlins, spanish ones.

its called AM skip ur wires r to bunched together and acting like a reciever picking up stary AM broabcasts happenes with my 5.1 in my room sometimes its nothing really dont worry about it its just somthing that comes and goes... like good video games

my neighbour is in an amateur radio club, and i can hear him through my boxes sometimes as well, it is funny, if you can understand it. Smile

but there is nothing you can do about it, sometimes it will happen, sometimes it wont. :/

when i lived in detroit i had some cheap speakers as well. and every other night i could listen to conversations on cell phones (the walkie talkie type cells i think). and sometimes i listened to some drug activities Very Happy
