Another example of how publishers ruined a good project rushing developers towards an early release date.

Since the first project was quite good but really buggy, the developers will probably opt to dumb down everything just to avoid the mess this time around. At least I'm sure that's what the publisher will demand.

Boiling point 1 was just released too early. It had a lot of potental but you could see it was rushed towards the end, the bugs and logic failres showed that. But it was enjoyable nevertheless, once I got used to the bugs etc it was quite immersing.

I played Boiling Point for a long time and despite its weak points it was fun. But then... some time ago I replaced my old ATI Radeon 9800 graphics card with a GeForce 6800 GT - and BP was the ONLY game which run slower with the new card than before.

Actually the frame rate dropped from about 30-40 fps to about 10-15 with the same settings. I tried everything...new install, patches, drivers...no solution.
I gave up and uninstalled it. Until today I dont know why BP was the only game with became unplayable with a faster graphics card....

Did anybody got it running with a GF 6800 gt ? Crying or Very sad
