Are red stars negative ones?
So it's 2/10?
Or -8/10?

Overlord 7.5 / 10

This movie was really good. Would've liked a little more time spent on fighting zombies or whatever you wanna call them but still it was great. Would love a sequel of some sort.

lol who does ratings from right to left?
I preferred red to yellow as they show up better against grey.
I certainly wouldnt give it 2 stars and say it was surprisingly enjoyable lol.

Outlaw king - 7.5/10 - very nice for a (I assume) low budget movie. Told the story well and it all looked authentic. I especially liked the last battle, no non-sense skirmish.

Hereditary - 5/10

The competent direction and suprisingly quality acting initially led me to believe that this was going to be the one, the horror flick that finally breaks the mold and raises the (low) bar. There's atmosphere and even intriguing mystery, until the movie just decides to go full ridiculous basically becoming a goofy spoof of itself. It would have worked well as dark comedy but alas, it's meant to be taken seriously. Sad Laughing

The Nun: 6.5/10

It was okay'ish (part of The Conjuring universe albeit not being part of the main series). They got the setting right but they showed too much which essentially removed most of the scariness it aimed for.

Bohemian Rhapsody 8/10

Am I glad the local theater went for a third week of showing since we couldn't make it last week.
Malik did a great job, it showed people were passionate about this movie and queen on a beefy audio setup is orgasmic. Very Happy

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - 4/10.

That was painful to watch. Sad

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Tom cruises stunts were all obvious cgi duh.
Same with superman stunts and all the other stunts.
Though they did shoot everything on location, so no cheap scene filler cgi. Nuh uh.

Mile 22 (2018)

8/10

Now that was a proper action film! Nothing like the latest films with Jason Statham & Dwayne Johnson Laughing

It was very enjoyable and action-packed. Very Happy

I liked the ending.

PS wtf is wrong with the imdb rating and rotten tomatoes? Laughing

Is it coz of the unpatriotic ending? Troll Face

Two of the most notable instances are that the HALO jump wasn't performed over Paris in reality, but over a desert, and the storm was also a digital creation too.

He was particularly horrendous in that film. That whole film felt like a crappy Steven Segal movie, but with Wahlberg instead and a higher budget.

I mean, sure, but show me where the UAE->Paris CGI is noticeable or terrible. What storm? You mean the nuclear explosion? Yeah, pretty sure that's CGI Laughing for the 0.5 seconds it lasted.
