I thought I read that they were going to add the improvements from Hitman2 to the first game but maybe they decided it was too much work so that is why they are just letting those that own part 1 get basically the remastered version for free from downloading the tutorial mission. I still wish they would have given the GOTY mission as that was the only one I was missing before.
It would have also been nice to be able to transfer the saves over to maybe get all your elusive target suits you had unlocked in part 2 but I guess they will just be running all the old elusive targets once again in part 2 at some point.

well if you own them in S1 they will be playable in Hitman 2 too |

@demde The whole concept of CreamAPI is to unlock DLCs you don't own, but yes I thought this would be the case now.

They did add the improvements, have you even tried it?
It wouldn't make sense to transfer saves because they have changed many small things in the original game as well, the biggest problem probably being the scoring and level system.

I'm really enjoying the game, its not blood money but its the best hitman game since blood money.
Not sure what all the complaining is about on steam reviews, most of it seems to be from people expecting a different type of game.
They really need to get a proper story guy working there since I really struggle to care that much, but blood money did it really well.

I was about to buy it. And then I read many many bugs in the remastered season1 maps. And then I saw many many.. bad shiny graphics. Didnt even finish S1. Previous game client looks better and is bugfree. Or so Im blind.

I can confirm some bugs in season 1, won't cause any problems unless you are playing in master as you can't save.
Graphics look great for me.
They will likely fix the bugs soon

I bought the gold edition for ~40 euros (gamingdragons) about a month ago. I would have happily paid 40e just for the base game but getting everything else (2 x dlc + some extras) is a great deal.
If you liked the first season, you will like this one. Having S1 integrated into this is a nice plus (you can also use S1 unlocks in S2, but have to do those again. Gaining mastery levels is a lot faster though, as there are no separate pro unlocks anymore. Because the previous hitman is not necessary, many unlocks are almost identical (but having two poisons/syringes, for example, is still useful). With season one, it uses 102GB of my SSD.
Levels seemed a bit lacklustre at first but they are growing on me the more I play. They really do have depth.
Not many major bugs but one extremely irritating one: sometimes when you load a save/menu/start the game, the game hangs and you are forced to alt+f4.
I disagree on many points of Interinactive's quoted review, but can't be bothered to give my opinion about those points today.
All in all, think Hitman 2 as season 2. So more of the same, as it was expected. And it's just what I wanted.

A crack for a single game is not worth changing your entire build. Ryzen is great value for money wise and for work. Unless you want 160fps+ and a strictly gaming setup.
And what the hell you should know anything is fake the moment you see RELOADED in the nfo. They've been dead for many years now.
