With the fifth season still in production ahead of a 2019 release, Amazon has more than enough faith in its popular detective drama “Bosch” and so have renewed the series for a sixth season.
4 episodes in and I'm really enjoying it, so well-written and acted even though the main plot is developing very slowly, but as usual there are other interesting secondary plots going on. I think it's so great and helps a lot that Michael Connelly supervises the writing and is also involved in production.
Just finished the new season and while it was okay this show greatly benefits from the new norm of the Netflix type binge watching mentality of TV shows. This format works well for this sort of show as you watch it over a few days then forgot about it as I can only remember small details from previous seasons by now and it's not really the sort of show where 5 years from now you are going to be thinking I really need to rewatch Bosch season XYZ because it was just so good.
Looking at my comment above from last year, this season is about the same. It works well to binge but if this was a weekly show it just would probably have been canceled after a season or two. I wonder if Titus was also filming some period project at the same time they filmed this season because those white mutton chops just seem random.

That seems really spot on. I don't imagine watching this once episode a week.
I watched all 10 episodes yesterday. I would give it 8/10
IMDb TV has picked up a spinoff of the long-running Amazon crime drama, with stars Titus Welliver, Mimi Rogers and Madison Lintz reprising their roles from the original series.
The untitled spin-off will follow Harry Bosch, played by Welliver, as he embarks on the next chapter of his career and finds himself working with his one-time enemy and top-notch attorney Honey “Money” Chandler, played by Rogers. With a deep and complicated history between this unlikely pair, they must work together to do what they can agree on – finding justice.
