It's not, but it's not very good either. Almost looks like a half assed shooter made on a lower budget because EA is bitter about losing all the money coming from season pass and lootboxes.

but who buys games at 60e? are you new to the internet?
isnt premiere 15e? you could probably find the game at 25e in 1 month from steamgifts or whatever
so in 1-2 months you would have spent like 35-45e for the game in total since you already paid 15e, you could have bought the full game now for the same price or even less from origin south korea or something
and probably the game wont even be that discounted since there is no season pass
First patch is currently being deployed.

It includes a fix for something that was shown on the previous page (one team having more than 32 players).
They mentioned the full patch notes should be released later today.

The patch released today was advertised as finally fixing DX12, and it did fix the stuttering for me personally. I'm not sure if there's any true benefit to using DX12 over DX11 in BF5, but it was as smooth as DX11 for the rounds I played.

No, it's not. It's just different.
It's even farther than the 'classic' BF flavor (BC2, BF3). It's more arcade and sometimes it reminds me of a twitch shooter. 1 vs 1 duels last 1-2 seconds. Game speed is increased, new features are fresh but - for me - can't compensate for the ultimate reality fact that this is a pew pew fest that involves no tactic or strategy. Just spawn, run, shoot, die / kill.
Subjectively, we found DXR to only bring small differences to the overall production design of the game, which looks great even with DXR off. There is no tangible visual difference between the DXR Ultra and Low settings
Also, it should be noted that BF5 doesn't use the tensor cores for denoising.

My thoughts exactly, watched some Twitch gameplay last night and I was completely amazed at how fast and for how long you're able to sprint, literally breezing across the map like you're some kind of Olympics-level runner on a high dose of EPO, as if you weren't holding any equipment at all either. Hills no matter how steep don't seem to slow you down or anything.. meh. There's no weight to anything it seems, just very fast arcade-y gunplay.
