So how is this season? Was it a mistake to bring back Fisk? How is the pacing?

In all honesty, I think it's the best out of the three, and possibly the best piece of Marvel-Netflix television around. I'm really glad we're past all this ninja nonsense. The show went back to its roots and it's all the better for it. Fisk is as good as he ever was, but this time he actually has a worthier counterpart in Murdock.

They finally gave Cox some actual acting to do (outside of playing a blind guy, that is) and he's doing a solid job of it. Matt's in a pretty dark place - he's more vulnerable than ever and there's finally some time to explore his character in more complex ways than "I'm a hero, but I have a darker side and I nearly kill people". Other characters are pretty well written and acted too, including Karen and Foggy. New cast is also solid, especially one particular character.

The pacing is alright too. It starts off somewhat slow, but there are some sudden changes and turns to keep things interesting. Don't expect too much out of the general storyline, however. It's decent enough, but precisely as predictable as it seems.

I'm currently as episode 8 (there's one scene there, that's pure gold, BTW). I hope the rest won't disappoint.

Best season. Very Happy

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Laid out plans for s04. When dds04 gets canned... lol.

Was an ok season. Too many attempts at upping the hallway fight scene from s01.

Stopped caring midway. Cause it felt disjointed at times.

Bullseye was decent.

Fisk was decent as he always is.
But thats about it.

Story was meh.
A lot of gotcha moments that were useless.

Overall... 7/10

In general I'd say is near to the other 2, in terms of quality.
Shooting techniques are a bit more dull this time, but there's still quality (the prison break one-off is really good).
I would have preferred a better and longer final duel between the parts, that kinda sucked for me.

I finished ep 6 and I don't know what to think of it. It's enjoyable, but there are some things that bother me. Fisk is a bit boring as a villain IMO, the story is pretty slow. Something that I did not like happened in ep 6 though.

The guy that makes his suit is actually a supervillain in the comics and is a good martial artist as part of his back story. It was why they had the saw blades around as he uses those as part of his villain weaponry.

It was an enjoyable season, but I was disappointed. The twists were much too predictable and making the hero a pussy for story purposes is bad practice. I like the character Kingpin and the actor fits the role, but he was just too boring this season. Marvel has a huge villain problem, most of them suck.

Oh how I missed these shows and the shitty filler eps (heeeeey teen karen liked coke and big cock, good to know I guess Poker Face)
It was ok though, they were mostly spot on with bullseye, although his ending was a bit shite (although maybe he'll pop in in punisher S2 so frank can blow his brains out).

The character will appear in future projects.

Just read Rosenberg left Jessica Jones with the completion of season 3 for a deal with WB. So there's no way that show will get renewed now that it's missing a creative. Looks like this is it for these shows.

They can always replace a creative but there seems to be a different reason behind the cancellations.

Let me rephrase. In the face of these cancelations, there needs to be a really good reason for one of these shows to survive. Rosenberg was one such reason, be it because of her acclaimed feminist vision, or so that she doesn't speak out "Netflix hates women, they wouldn't even listen to me."

With her gone, now there's no reason to keep THIS show, anymore than there was to keep all the other that were canceled.

Netflix shows are dying, but Disney gets at least 4 new Marvel shows for their upcoming streaming service (Loki, Winter Soldier etc.) Rolling Eyes It's never gonna end. I really could do without all that comic crap - only thing I really like is the MCU. Which turned out to be surprisingly entertaining and interconnected.

Thats cause disney streaming for these shows is a maybe. Everyone is speculating that theyll go there, but prolly not. Unless sr creatives signed nda and cant say shit until annoucement in late 2019.
