So I'll be needing a mouse as well and I have not decided on one yet. Should I get a G502 as well? It's like ~54 euros here. I had a Logitech G500 and it was fantastic except for the most awful wheel (as a button) I've seen on any mouse (issue with the model in general from what I've read). I got tired of it and snagged an Asus Pugio for about half its price. I really like that one because it had a simple slick design and it was on the smaller side, which for me is a good thing because I have baby hands. However that's back home in Romania, along with my old PC and everything, so yeah, can't really use that, heh.

Well, had an unfortunate accident (one of my edifiers fell on top of my g502 Laughing) and now the right scroll button is kinda faulty. While I like this mouse, the right click was always a bit too light for my liking so... any alternatives? Even from logitech?

It will NEED to have the right and left scroll buttons as well as the three side buttons, "worst" case scenario I'll just buy another G502

This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

My G903 packed in. Loved it, but the 'double click' problem it exhibited just got worse, sent it back and got another with exact same problem. Binned.

On a G502 now, which I love even more, at less than half the cost of the 903.

Fuckin shit never lasts these days.

Got another G502, good news is that the "lighter" right click isn't a general issue and this one is not affected, unlike the first.
Bad news is why is this a problem in the first place for a 50€+ mouse? Facepalm

Logitech MX Master 2S.

Fits my hand nicely. I've used lots of Logitech mice over the years and generally I find them good. I hate corded mice, wireless all the way for me and I am a gamer.

Huh so Microsoft is bringing in a new Intelli mouse based on the 3389 sensor.
https://www.resetera.com/threads/new-microsoft-pro-intellimouse-with-3389-sensor.84752/

Though it seems to be China only for now.

Quote:

"...PixArt PAW 3389 PRO-MS Microsoft's exclusive optical game sensor with a mouse DPI of up to 16,000 and a refresh rate of 12,000 FPS"
"...adjust 50 steps (200-16,000 DPI), custom RGB color adjustment for taillights, and lift distance calibration. The linear correction function is turned off and the rate of return adjustment (125-500-1000Hz) ensures the movement speed and positioning accuracy of the mouse during operation. "
"...customize the function of the mouse button, which helps the player to achieve the difficult action in the game with one click. The new one-click quick 180-degree turn and one-click speed-down aiming feature make it easy for gamers to enjoy the game and enjoy the game."
"...mouse left and right buttons use Omron micro-motion, the primary key micro-motion 20,000,000 click life"
"...The mouse uses durable braided cables"
"...mouse will start pre-sale on December 1, and officially listed on December 12, priced at 399 yuan. The launch of the Microsoft Pro IntelliMouse mouse has two colors of dark sand and silver cypress,"
"... The weight of the mouse is precisely calculated, and the center of gravity of the mouse is more stable, more comfortable and efficient. At the same time, in order to enhance the use of touch, the mouse has been upgraded to the button coating, which also optimizes the side skirt coating and side button texture, thereby enhancing the anti-skid and wear resistance of the button**,** effectively avoiding the user slipping when using the mouse.

Interesting to hear about that though, seems it popped up early in December.

I have the MX Master 2 - use the same mouse at work. The side scrolling wheel feels like a waste since almost nothing supports it but it's a solid mouse & has great battery life. It's NOT a gaming mouse though - it works for gaming but I got it mainly for graphics work.
