By now, you've probably seen that Discord have announced that they are planning to launch a shiny new storefront for PC games through their app later this year. As part of that, we've partnered up with them to bring Bad North "First on Discord" as a launch title for the platform when it opens fully later in the year. We can't say exactly when just yet, but when discord announces their grand opening, we will be there!
Our console releases are unaffected by this, so it's still "Summer 2018" (AKA Soon™) for those, and the game will also release on Steam and GOG before the year is out.
Other Platforms
For those of you who don't have a Nintendo Switch, don't fret! XBox One and PS4 versions of Bad North are released in just over a week, on the 28th August.
As per our previous announcement, PC (Windows and macOS) will release later this year as a launch title for Discord's new storefront. We can't say exactly when that will be yet, as we're sworn to secrecy (yet again!), but it shouldn't be too long. After that we will bring the game to Steam and GOG before the year is out.
Mobile builds are still in the pipe, but they will be a little bit further off
