I'm considering buying a console for this. And you know what that means, I buy a console, and it comes to PC six months later. Just like it happened with MK9 and my PS3.
In other news, I'm opening a "Fund my bad luck" patreon. If you wish to contribute to my bad luck, just sent moneys.
i buy used stuff all the time to try it (to see if its for me, mostly synths, guitar pedals etc) or to have it for a short period (consoles) and then i sell it for the same money or a little more money sometimes. I just see it as renting something.
still, very few sales on PC in comparsion to consoles.. it's like 70-80% on console 20-30% PC, same for e.g Witcher 3 if you look up some numbers..
If you put both consoles together - sure. Otherwise 30-35% is solid, which is what the reports I saw claimed. That means W3 sold 7+ million copies on pc. Also, W3 pc outsold both consoles put together in 2017, outsold PS4 in 2016 and outsold xbox in 2015. There's a bigger shelf life on pc and if you put modding support and other shit you can develop a stable community. Look at GTA V.

10% of 90 million sales is 9 million. No matter how you look at it, that's a LOT of sales. Continually alienating the growing PC market is just stupid, the remnants of an age long passed. Piracy is never going away, but as more things become centred around multiplayer, that really isn't much on an excuse now.
It just sounds like marketing people who are still stuck on the idea that PC owners are all filthy pirates, and will look for every possible way to circumvent copy protection. Because there is no piracy on consoles. Ever.

Nah its fine to alienate us cus we got memory like sumone with dementia. PC masterrace is just as derp as console kidz. Rockstar will sell the game twice, and no one is going to be angry in the long term cus we all forget so easy. Just a game anyway.
