anyone noticed the resemblance of the f.e.a.r. soldiers on the villain side resemble that soldier above? Gasmasks, helmets, weapons, uniform. Its all there, bloddy ripoffs

screen shots of HL2 were out long before 2004 since it was originally supposed to be released 2003..

Jesus fucking christ, they look as much as eachother as they look like a SWAT guy, they're in uniform and proctetion, thats it. And the stun rod doesn't look the same at all, In HL2 it's solid with a blue halo just beneath the top, here it's consist of 5/6 smaller rods. So quit it, and btw it's totally nonsense to discuss this, cuz look long enough these days, and anything will resemble something else.

True. But really come on now. The script was in the works before HL2 was even announced and shown off. I highly doubt the writer/director was saw a screenshot of HL2 and was like "MY SOLDIERS WILL LOOK LIKE THAT!!"

Either way.
I was pleased with Equilibrium (despite the made for TV feel I got) and am looking forward to this one. I think the director likes the Orwellian themes
