On that comment, they mention there's a certain unlockable in REmake 2 they haven't announced, something bigger than Tofu and Fourth Survivor Modes being in the game, that will tremendously increase replay value, but they're not announcing it at this time.
Mention they didn't want to go exactly for realism like RE7 in REmake 2, but do a sorta' stylized "Hollywood" look for the game, a stylized reality. They redid the style and graphics a lot to try and achieve the look they were going for.
Puzzles will be more "realistic", IE things integrated better into the game world and have an in-game logic to them and world building rather than puzzles just being randomly about.
Claire's depiction in REmake 2 is similar to Leon to help show who she was before she got pulled into all of this. “Claire is a very strong woman. She’s got spunk riding a motorcycle into town all by herself.” A free rebel of sorts who's come to find her brother and storm into a police station to do it.
Confirm the game will be at TGS, and that the game is mostly finished but just being polished now.

Looks good, only bad thing i can see is no animation when opening the doors or switching weapons.. The doors are opening automatically as he walks, really lame.

did they say if they changed some story things or is it mostly the same but with a changed camera?

And so was RE3, for me RE4 was shit and everything that came after. The Static camera is what made a RE game for me. Therefore it goes like this IMHO RE2, RE3, RE1, RE0.
RE2 was great because you had 2 Campaigns with different path but shared locations which you could choose to play either with Claire or Leon as you desire.
RE3 is great for me because of the Nemesis encounters and the same setting in Racoon City like RE2.
The Mansion on the other hand from RE1 wasnt that great to be on place 1 IMO.

Because you can't remaster RE2 to today's audiovisual standards because it's too old. REmake and RE0 hold up far better technically, so they can look and sound pretty good without building them from scratch.

Um, nothing came between 0 and 4..
In case you are confused, the game's release order is:
RE1, RE2, RE3, RE CV, REmake, RE0, RE4, ...
RE2 was the most popular RE game until RE4, which changed the style of gameplay, so yeah it's good. It's not my favorite, but it is the favorite of many people.
You will typically hear that REmake and RE2 are the best games of the "old" ones.
As for how much it's changed, the game has been given an entire make over. The story and characters seems to be the same, but areas are redesigned, script is all new (story might be the same, but dialogs are entirely new), player progression is different, puzzles are different, etc. It's a complete reimagining for today's audiences. The story can't be entirely different, because the game has to continue to fit in with the other games of the series that reference it.

if re2 was so good how come they didnt remake it until now but did 0 and 1 (the remakes not remasters)?
for some reason i thought original 0 came after 1 and thats why they remaster it first instead of 2.
i hope they do silent hill someday too
