I began botting last week (thank you Stige) after reaching level 22. Got banned today at level 28 lol.I refuse to grind for hours. It was fun when the game came out, I went with friends as a group one weekend and we caught pokemon all day. The excitement has calmed down over the past few weeks. And now barely anybody around here talks about it because most people get stuck around levels 21-25
Gonna go back to playing Tomb Raider

stige and timechange, did you bot aggressively (inhuman walk speed, location hopping/sniping) or in a realistic way? just curious since i'm still running necrobot, but also in a rather conservative mode (always same city, 20k xp/h) and wondering whether it's worth it - or rather, how good niantic is in detecting bots in general.
I used necrobot and my settings were kinda aggressive. 20km/h walk speed. No sniping ever and set to catch everything that the bot encounters. I had close to 1100 pidgey candy and 250k stardust before getting banned lol

dont see the fun in people botting.. kinda takes away the fun if u dont wanna play the game as normal then why even bother ? go play something u enjoy instead.

i wouldn't call it "fun", but rather avoiding the "unfun" aspect of grinding from lvl20 to 40. now if there was actually a point in getting lvl40 aside from having the biggest e-penisdragon...
I used bot for my main account for a very short period of time, like 2 hours and it didn't do much. I lvled up 2 levels and after that I snipped for a day getting like 10 pokemons - still no ban.
I used very aggressive necro for alt acc: 1-21 in a few hours + it got to 25lvl, then HEAVY snipping for days. I stopped botting for 3 days with it, played the game as it should be played - yesterday I got banned.
My gf main acc - just casual snipping, no botting with necro or anything - 20 pokemons max - today she got banned.
I believe they ban faster if you use snipping and they can flag accs very easily with from this. They just put pokemons on impossible coords like in the middle of the ocean or some very deep point in very far jungle - the chance of someone getting the pokemon there is like 1:99999, and even if there's someone who can catch it, imagine the amount of people snipping this pokemon using the location feeder and pokesniper - insta flag = ban.
I really got into this whole botting thing. My main goal in playing legit PokemonGo was to reach lvl20 and have a Lapras. I played all the way up to lvl22 and had the Lapras. This is when I started botting last week.
NOW the new game is to be able to bot from lvl1 to lvl30 and not get banned. If you can achieve this, you win! And if you get banned you lose try again with another account lol
And if you get to lvl30 the legit way, you lose a good portion of your life to this pointless game so congrats you still lose

Almost lvl28 now on my main account and I bot with it.
If it gets banned, well too bad. Had my fun
I am using slow walk speeds and just let it walk around on spots with many pokestops but only around my hometown. I don't change locations within a minute.
So far so good

nah,its perfectly combineable with a daily dose of Ingress so keeping the neighbourhood clean of green scum also nets some progress in Pokemon:Go. Kinda worried about my S4 tho,it starts to show signs of old age with unbearable performance at times

Now, I don't know what hardware costs in Poland, I guess it's cheaper because everything is stolen from Germany and resold...

Released two years ago today, Niantic’s Pokémon GO became an overnight sensation. While the fervor has subsided in the 24 months since that game-changing day, players worldwide continue to spend more than $2 million per day in their quest to catch those original Pokémon and the dozens that have been added since launch. This has led to the game reaching $1.8 billion in player spending, according to the latest Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates, having crossed the $1 billion milestone in January 2017.
