Yeah I'm liking it too, custom where each element could be enabled or disabled individually would be nice but I like even having the option to remove some of these accessibility crutches.
Glow-lines, painted surfaces, see-through vision and all sorts of other markers just became a standard and difficulty just started scaling damage dealt and damage received in many games sometimes perhaps changing ammo and supply scarcity but you usually never were in much of a danger of running out and the auto-aim assist was making damn sure everything hit ha ha.

Difficulty options are very welcomed feature. If only we could have much more puzzles and a bit less of *pew pew*

Easy Mode: Lara is slim but deceptively strong and moves effortlessly horizontally and vertically.
Normal Mode: Lara is carrying an extra 20 pounds and starts off the game moving slower than on easy mode. Upgrades throughout the game allow Lara to improve her physical prowess.
Hard Mode aka SJW mode: Lara is 300lbs overweight and loses her balance a lot and this can cause her to break bones. 75% of the game she'll need a walking aid. Also, she'll snag her gut on the rocks when climbing, a simple 5m climb will need multiple health packs to replenish her energy.

Eh, I'll probably play on normal, but most likely before I finish there will be a full 100% playthrough where the guy plays on hardest and uses a dick controlled logitech steering wheel setup.

If they insist on making pew pew such a big part of the game, can't they make it good? I can tell just by watching the video that it's the same terrible gunplay from previous games. The guns still lack that 'oomph.'

Not liking at all, BTW. It seems the graphics have taken a hit, but gameplay remains exactly the same like the previous two, which is nothing really to like—a Rambo Raider nonsense with no "tombs".

I'm liking some of the things I see, disliking others.
I like it, that tombs and puzzles are a bit more complex - even though they wills still be simple as fuck, at least it's a micro-improvement.
I dislike it, that platforming was dumbed down to one button press shit.
I dislike it, that Lara put on fat (even on her face), to cater to fat lesbos everywhere. Fuck that. I like Doom guy with insane muscles (even though I will never be as ripped - who fucking cares), and I like Lara with nice big tits, nice round ass, zero belly, and 8% body fat. Because this is escapism, and because that is what Lara was from the very beginning.
I also don't like, that she is Rambo.
Rambo, the fridge raider. very inclusive, journos who never even heard of the original games will love it.
