Season 3 was a waste of time. Season 4 stepped up but first 2 seasons are still best.
Yet to start with season 5.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

So I watched the first four eps of S5, and WTF is all I can say. You get a chance to do something different, to close the old stories and start fresh. What do you do? You repeat the same shit again. A psycho war tribe with a cold leader? Check. People killing each other for the lulz? Check. Octavia losing her shit? Check. The same philosophical bullshit from the same characters? Check. The same people at leadership making the same fucking mistakes? Check. Betrayals, betrayals, betrayals? Check. Clarke's signature look? Check. Bellamy a retard? Check. I can go on and on. It's the same fucking story and characters! Everything is so predictable it hurts.
Octavia's development throughout the series is all over the place IMO. She ranges from great commander to emotional psycho. From a murder machine to someone who can't seem to take out one warrior.
Don't even bother Bob. Unless something great happens this season, it's not worth it. I liked the first ep of this season so much, hoping it'd lead to greatness. I hope ALIE comes back, headshots these fuckers with her drones and rules the world.

PS I'm enjoying this season tbh. Yeah, it's essentially same old, same old but considering it's much better than s03 and still better than s04, I'm fine with it.

S02 is much better I suggest that you should skip s03 (you could still try giving it a go but it was the worst season so far) and just watch a recap on youtube, and then start watching s04

Current season started off really well, now that stuff is settling it's slowly reverting to same old. Octavia has been annoying for a couple seasons already but now she just pisses me off.

The soldier lady is the best thing that happened to this show though This character is pretty great. A no-nonsense approach to problem-solving, rational and all. I just hope the writers won't fuck her up.
And despite reverting to same old, same old, I'd say this season is still entertaining and not as bad as s03

Just finished S3. Jeez. That was quite boring. This whole AI stuff is pretty fking ridiculous. Shame that my favourite Commander is dead tho. Can just Clark become the next commander and unite everone?
Will probably start S4 in next few days...

The season finale was OKeish.
Unfortunately, the build-up (the first half of the season) was better than what we got int he end.
Tbh I expected that they would leave | Spoiler: | the Earth in the finale, considering the show got renewed. There was little to do if anything at all on this planet anyway. |
Not a bad season overall, better than s03. Pretty entertaining, although the writing was hit and miss especially the second half of the season.
The thing is..I suspect the writers are going to do it all over again. | Spoiler: | They land, there will be someone on the planet already etc..Not that I mind tbh. I just hope they'll make the planet look nothing like the Earth. |

Gotta admit the ending caught me by surprise.
I also thought this season got weak mid season, then started to be good again during the last couple of episodes.
Not sure what to think, overall I liked it but some mid season episodes were really so so.
