Came over here expecting a topic about this already, If there is I dont see it
a playable demo for Timeshift is now available on 3dgamers, Gamershell...well you know, all the usual places.
it aint bad, although I dont think strafing is included, if it is I couldnt use it. The time control is cool but feels a bit cosmetic. nice decals, ragdolls, gore is pretty excessive too!
Its an idea to have a good rig behind you otherwise you'll be watching a slideshow, lots of gfx options to fool around with so you can scale accordingly.

It seems to work fine on the wasd keys but god forbid you bind it to the arrow keys, then it goes all funky.

Mmm.. looks like it could be milly amusing..
Did anyone else find it didnt run too great?
1280x1024 - Good settings - AA x2
It ran the same on "best" settings too..?

Anyway I played the demo and thought it was just ok. Seemed just like any FPS but just with a pause time gimmick. Didn't run too great either. Felt like it had that lag/skipping shit. It would run smooth then skip and shit like htat.

Yeah thank you, i found it on atari forums. Pretty good game, when is it comming out? It ran great on my system, everything is on high.

Wasn't very impressed with this demo at all. Graphics were quite pretty (seen much better) but it didn't run particularly well, and the gameplay was a bit crap.

This will be good , even great .
But the demo is badly optimized .
Turn off the SHADOW if your FPS drop at some part of the game .

i like explosions:) but its damm lagy..and i don't thik that this engine needs very good gfx...after all we seen better graphic..only when i use 800x600 and low details - its fine...above this its lagy and i have 3200 MHZ with 1024 ram and 6600GT -maybe not the best gfx card for today - but still ...doom 3 run on ultra - smooth - and this one is mutch less nice (graphicly) from doom3 so... i am confused.
