The season finale wasn't very satisfying..
 Spoiler: | 1) Escaping to a virtual world? This was the solution? Considering that humans control all the infrastructure and stuff? It's too risky. Even after they transferred it to Delos' servers.
2) The writer getting killed spouting some nonsense was so cheap and stupid. He didn't have to walk straight to the Delos' soldiers, he could have just hidden behind the trees and cover Maeve's party retreat.
Although.maybe it was the whole point of this scene. He died as he lived, a melodramatic idiot lol
3) Maeve not ordering the crowd to attack Delos' soldiers and standing there and dying like a fucking Jesus Christ on a cross was stupid. If she could stop them she most certainly could have ordered them to do something else. Another cheap scene. However, perhaps, she couldn't control them due to the virus and she could only glitch them out.
4) Hale-Dolores reveal felt kinda ridiculous too. Deus Ex Machina writing has always seemed cheap to me.

It was entertaining, but the writing, in general, wasn't even close to S01 writing.
PS There is a scene after the credits.

i think it was ok...good ending and everything was kinda logical...so im fine with it..
I liked the westworld series..from me it gets a 8 out of 10, wich is very very good...

I wouldn't have expected anything less from HBO.
Good first season, lots of viewers and hype. Consecutive seasons are full of fillers and a thin plot, so that they could potentially continue to make new seasons as long as they have viewers. GoT and especially Stranger Things went just like this.
First season: 9/10.
Second season: 6/10.

Episode 8 was really good from that point of view. The "shocking" scenes made sense in the bigger scheme of things to me, but they weren't always done with great taste/impact indeed.
