@freiwald i am out of ideas TBH .... its probably gonna be eithe some random thing thats missing in LGBT windows (or any windows that used some of these antispying scripts) and crack relies on it :-/

Or its the Windows version as i have seen people that got it working on 1803 when it didnt work on 1703 or previous one

or maybe something related to AV, Defender, Firewalls,... virtualization setting , Hyper-V

i dont think its the windows update causing the problems, more likely the defender. just whitelist the exe and do it again

like i said i don't have windows defender installed. Very Happy no other AV / firewall (just windows firewall) what so ever.
the exe is blocked in the windows firewall and even with disconnected internet it doesn't work.
just tested recore and it's the same problem.
so because legit copies seem to work and also cracked versions of AOE and zoo tycoon but NOT the cracked versions of forza, gow4 and recore, im more then sure that codex changed something in their crack. this change requires something which isn't available on my pc.
since "normal" users without LTSB get this too, i really don't know what it could be.

man it will be so hard to figure this out.

Or you could just install a regular windows 10 (and apply activation like autokms) and enjoy the game /

some people without LTSB got this problem too. 1607, 1703, 1709, 1803. it doesn't matter.
it's not because of LTSB. otherwise the legit version of GOW 4 (which has the same problem) wouldn't run on LTSB and also the forza 3 demo wouldn't work. but both work fine. something is missing for me and those other people so the crack can install the license correctly. the license is checked at the start and that is the reason it won't get past the intro/splash screen.

when i copied it first there were some spaces between "packageful lname" but even with those removed it showed up nothing.

iirc you need to progress further in the game to get into DLCs (they are not available from the start)

also some guy on RIN solved it by

If you don't see the DLC popping up after the festival upgrade, make sure to restart the game. Didn't register for me until I did that.

For the rest it still works fine (played ten to twelve hours), an occasional crash here and there (but that is blamed on a wonky Win after the update... waiting for my SSD to arrive for a fresh install).

Was worried before the install, have most shit disabled in Win a, rather restrictive policy and not even the win store is installed but to my surprise it booted up from the first try.

This game definitely made me think "I need a new PC". It is gorgeous but heavy on the resources for my aging old computer.

steady 60fps @ full hd with my old ass xeon 1230v3 and the almost 3 years old 1070. the culprit there was the gfx card, my 770 wasnt able to power the game properly. but everything starting with a 970 should be able to run it smooth

So far the only thing my 970 struggles with is the offroad races at twilight. Rest has been 60fps on medium settings.

Haven't bothered with tweaking the settings myself though, bet I can make it a bit smoother/nicer.

Yeah, and I've got an old Radeon HD 7950 with 3GB and an Intel i5 3570K. Crying or Very sad

sure, you need to tone down stuff which uses much vram. the game can easily grab about 9gb system memory and way above 6gb vram (on 1440p)

I've got 16GB RAM. It's the Radeon that can't handle anything above low. Weird settings in Forza H3. I can make it look nice with decent frame rates at medium (using the auto-setting in-game) but the cars handle like luxury cruise ships leading to zig-zagging across the road trying to compensate the control lag.

dont use unlocked framerate and use vsync (with fps dips thats not really great though), thats the only way i got it perfectly playable.

Almost stable 60fps here (1060) on maxed all out 1080p. Sometimes drops to 55 but it's ok with automatic ultra dynamic setting.
All this "festival" stuff is just so stupid. People run around You, give You cards, lick your ass. who are You Laughing

Cannot select cars or get into hot wheels or blizzard mountain dlc because of xbox parenting lock ?! whhaaaat. I don't even have any store or xbox account logged. The game seems pretty ok otherwise. help!

because of testing purposes i just installed a fresh copy of windows 10 LTSB 2016 (1607) and windows 10 Pro (1803).
both setups with the same drivers and settings.
i wanted to be sure that i didn't messed up anything with my current system and that this is the reason it doesn't work.

- on my current system LTSB 1607 with added store, the legit copy of the game, downloaded directly from the store, works fine. the cracked version DOES NOT. (crash at playground logo)
- on the fresh intalled LTSB 1607, without any modifications but removing windows defender and adding the store, the cracked version does also not run.
- on the fresh installed Pro 1803, without any modifications but removing windows defender, the game works fine.

so i guess either something is missing to run the newest codex emulator on older windows versions, or it just needs a higher version then 1607 in general.
otherwise the game wouldn't run at all on LTSB, not even the legit copy. but as you can see it does.

i copied all the apps from 1803 over to my usb stick and will install them on my normal LTSB system and see if it will change anything. wish me luck Very Happy
