It looked more promising then I thought. Drivable cars, lots of guns. I'm really happy it's in first person.

Here's hoping we can see some direct footage soon(ish), am incredibly curious about the actual perspective/vehicles/dynamicity of world/pretty much anything really.

It was a great and promising trailer, but I want to see gameplay too before getting hyped.

Before this trailer i had the impression that this game would be more like Blade Runner dark and gritty. At first i thought this was a trailer to watch dogs 3............. so yeah im dissapointed.

Well, I think most expected/wanted what the very first trailer depicted. Like it being actually pretty dark but pierced by artificial bright neon lights... and so on. The mood was just completely different for me now. Not in a good way. I imagined daytime being more of a sickly diffused light... especially because of the heavy industrialization... the skies would be fucked I'd imagine. |
Yes youve seen a studio improve in their world building and gameplay development. Its not like remedy with their last game.
Also people forget that blade runner and other cyberpunk movies are set predominantly at night. Daytime looks vibrant and colourful.

I prefer the brighter cleaner look over dark misty neon.
Though they should have shown actual gameplay.

If its an unknown studio and an ambitious game, id understand the scepticism. But this is a legit studio that hasnt made a 7/10 game in years.
Like i said... if this is a remedy situation with their quantum game... then itll be a dissapointment. But cdpr hasnt fucked us yet so dont jynx it plz.

Well it was mostly in daylight, it will be darker in the night Blade Runner style.

I think they changed direction if you judge by the first trailer, several years ago. It was indeed darker and grittier, ala Blade Runner.

Yeah, they probably changed direction, but at least aesthetically it's not something I expected. It almost looks like a R* and Ubi hybrid. When I first saw the teaser trailer years ago the first association for me was Shadowrun.

This seems dark enough for me. But I like that they didn't just go and copy the dark mood that you can see in basically every sci-fi movie nowadays.

Don't like it. I expected some dark, Blade Runnerish cyberpunk game and not this Derp Dogs lookalike game :/

The game will have a time of day system. At night it will look like night. Day time SHOULD look bright.
Regardless, given the company that's making it, the combat mechanics will be shit anyway so who cares.
