They even mentioned it in some stream, i think it was for BF5, that they don't want the maps to get leveled by Levolution.
That would be awesome, Red Faction style. I've never understood why FPS games have not taken that approach to be able to fully destroy the level.

Yeah that's true. But atleast some form of destruction maybe not till its completely flat. I would like to see a game that is like that, maybe not BF.
If it were an mmo and the destruction was forever yeah i get how thatd be stooopid. But at most a game 64v64 lasts an hour. If a map is huge you cant do a lot and if damage is realistic thered be shit all over the place. Would be perfect for a constantly changing battlefield.

Yes exactly! I think it would add tons of fun to the gameplay. It could also be a optional feature that servers can enable or disable.
Have to agree. As much as I liked BF1942 back in the day, now I prefer modern combat actually. Couldn't get into BF1, probably because of the crappy weapons and vehicles. WW2 setting should be a bit better but doesn't really look like it is. Hard to tell from videos, though.

And yeah I was right about the grass' colour, the contrast is completely over the place.

I see no problems what so ever with giving us Battle Royal mode. Its just a mode like Deathmatch anyway so..
Also, BF5 might actually be the first BR mode I actually enjoy

It's just the utter lack of creativity or risk-taking that's disappointing - feels very similar to trying to cash in on the Clash-Royal-whatever games frenzy with that C&C abomination.

Not trying to defend BF5, but that doesn't necessary mean it's a lootbox. It might be predetermined what's it it. Regardless, if it's just for different gun colors etc, and then keep the community whole, I can only applaud that. Really disliked the system in previous BFs where all DLC maps were empty
