This is going to be a strange topic.. But those whove seen me around the forums know im a strange one
I recently lost alot of weight, and it was due to stress and various other problems. And being a liker for designer clothing (expecially jeans!) i have alot of clothes which are now too big. Ive gone from a 32-34 waist to 30-32 in jean size, and from a medium to a small in shirt size. Ive been trying like crazy the last month to gain the 2 stone (around 30-40 pounds) that i lost so i can get back into my beloved clothing. What i want to know is, how to go about it. Ive ate alot of fatty foods, and alot of protein full food, but nothing seems to work. Ive managed to gain a measily 2 pounds in a month of eating like a bitch. Anyone out there who can tell me a diet or a healthy way to gain that weight back, expecially in the waist area if possible. Anyone who has had to go up a weight class for a sport and such, much love will be given if you can help me out here.
Also, please dont recommed those special diet bars and shakes, they dont do shit for me and i cant afford them right now! so real foods only please!

It depends on what kinda stuff you want to do however since you're finding it so hard to put it back on 'naturally it seems like you're at your ideal weight now and you should stick at it. 2 stone seems like a hell of a lot to want to put back on though :/ And as for sport... Muscle is heavier than fat so it's much easier to bulk up in sport because it usually just requires more strength training and maybe longer sessions.
I myself find it really hard to put on weight (not that I want to) and over christmas from all the eatin chocolate, food, drink etc. I actually lost weight. I wouldn't say its because my muscle turned into fat or died either, i just don't know how it happened.

I agree with Sublime. I feel that people are normally at their correct weight and that changes slightly as you get older. It doesn't seem very healthy forcing weight onto yourself.

You want to know his height in kilometers!?
It's about 183cm and about 54 kilos. So he's really underweight for his height.

VERY BAD. Just live healthily i.e. don't force yourself to eat and eat crap if you must but still be a bit more active. I'm heavier than you and i'm only about 5 foot 6 and i'm a skinny cunt.

Sorry but you have to be eating the right things and eating alot more.
Concentrate on eating fatty foods like "takeaway" and adding Peanut butter to everything you eat while at the same time making sure you eat atleast 4 times a day those being REAL meals not SNACKS, snacking in between would only help and remember to get plenty of rest with very little physical excercise.
Of course they say beer will give you a beer belly but I wouldnt go down the route with all the other troubles you get concerning alcohol and its continued consumtion

Just eat lots of carbohydrates and dairy.

no because dairy products can be really fattening and can cause all kindsa problems if you have too much.
Having meat is part of the solution... but only if you use all that energy and burn it off. Its useless just eating loadsa fattening things unless you're gonna burn it off, otherwise you will just become fat. I'm sure you don't want that and if you're fitter you'll probably be happier (well you certainly wouldn't have to worry about your weigh)t and it could be used as a stress reliever and a break from your life.
Also i'm sure if it was stress alone that made you lose all the weight i'm sure that some tabs from the doc might help part of the problem, other than that it really is about exercisin more.

If you're really thin anyway, exercising is hardly going to make you gain much weight. He needs some fat to metabolise, if he's only 54 kilos at 183cm that means he has essentially no fat. He should put on at least a stone of weight and then exercise.
Tell me, why do you keep saying he has to 'burn off' all of his energy intake, when his aim is to put on weight, not lose it?
Of course full fat dairy is bad for you when eaten over a prolonged period, but thats hardly going to be the case with this temporary 'high fat, high calorie' diet. A month or two at most.

yes but dairy products are seriously unhealthy. A steak will give him more fat and energy to slowly burn than a block of butter would. Because it's a steak too it'll take a longer time to digest properly so is stored longer.
And you'd be surprised how easy it is for skinny people to become muscly. Won't happen overnight but within a month or 2 at the most he could easily be back at his normal weight, it wouldn't require a whole lot really either.

yea but that's just going to leave him with an unhealthy heart and stuffing yourself with food will cause all kinds of problems, stomach pains, constipation, tiredness etc. It's much safer to excercise and diet properly. And like i said, exercise should take your mind off some of the stresses and maybe motivate you more.

You should ask your doctor,he should be able to prescribe some kinda medicine to "gain weight".
I think they use something like that for anorexia.

yes but he's not anorexic nor really have a mental health problem like that. Also drug supplements also fuck up your body, mainly your liver and kidneys though so I don't see what's worong with going about the natural way and reeping the benefits properly. It seems the only sensible thing to do.

First of all i would go and see a doctor to make sure that you are physically fine. There are some diseases wich come with a serious loss of weight and wich make it very hard or even impossible to gain it back.
