Writers/directors are in final negotiations: Glenn Ficarra and John Requa (script: Bad Santa, dir:"Crazy, Stupid, Love", Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, script & dir: I Love You Phillip Morris, Focus)
Jared Leto and Margot Robbie will reprise their roles.

i really hope leto does keep the role. hes such a talented actor, and i DID enjoy his take on the character and bits of his performance in suicide... i just want to see what he can do in the role with a proper script and a talented director...

If done right. Pheonix could be original joker that kills letos robin who becomes the joker. If the get a younger batman for pheonix joker. Tell two tales. And in the mean time deage leto in pheonix joker movies so hes todd. And then dies in movie two when pheonix retires. Do a suicide squad three with the prequel where they find todd, wounded on the beach somwehere infected and get hauled into the asylum. And suicide squad could have todds origin as the joker.
Quinn doesnt have to be original jokers she could be todds quinn.
But wb is just doing mainstream stories with no idea how to bind them into a universe. They dont need to. Just do live action dc animated movies. And thats it. Dont need to sign on actors for 10 or so years. Dont do the mcu formula cause they cant figure out connections. Just do bad ass movies.
