The UI managed to be worse than in the original The Crew
The bloody cars are like boats (not unsurprising). The airplane controls are horrendous for the K+M combo.
Horrendous story and voice-acting, confusing open world, the M button won't take you straight to the map and you will have to zoom out manually to actually see it....

Hmm. I kind of didn't like the alpha. The UI is a mess, graphics are nothing amazing (not even NFS standard), more awful characters/story, nothing improved compared to last game. The addition of planes and boats is nice but so far not impressed with the game.

Alpha these days means really nothing, it's usually just the old beta/open-beta that we used to know of... but it gives a better opportunity to 'scam' people into a pre-order or a buy. "It's only alpha, it will change" No, it will not change drastically.
True, alpha beta gamma doesn't mean shit, the best you can hope for are UI changes, bugfixes, maybe a gfx effect here or there, maaaybe better performance etc. But if you expect the story/characters to improve or the core gameplay to change then forget about it.
Open world games where you can't leave the car are retarded. Especially ones where there are no people driving the other cars, or no people on the streets, or people that become superman when you try to run them over.
These idiots here, they implement an entire mechanic to switch different vehicle types in a retarded manner, just because you can't leave the car. Just take fucking Watch Dogs 2, put the same city you have now, improve the driving mechanics and there you go. No, instead let's have Retardformers type animations.
No.. nope. This looks like some guys got together to make a GTA4/Mafia3/similar rip-off, worked their asses off to build the city but lost their will and drive when it came to get the AI, the quests, the writing etc. done and took the short cut of making it MMO (buying an existing server service).
