they need to compensate people on pc i don't see any other solution for this
you can indeed spend money on FIFA points to open packs but you can also play the game without spending money and still receive a pack after each game like i do so you can't even get new players this way as the market is not in this worldcup mode
tried to replay both titles (world cup 98 as well as international soccer) a few weeks ago, its better to stay away from those and have good memories about it

I will always remember FIFA 97 PC as the worst playing FIFA. Players were impossible to control on a keyboard. Calling them boats would be insulting to the sailing industry!
