Why did you make that awful intersection instead of proper interchange?
I wanted to keep with the idea of the map, its a low developed Island so wouldnt have a big intersection plus I figure plopping intersections is easy for someone to replace it with.
The map is a little more challenging than most on the workshop, the game has been out a long time now and I always wanted more of a challenge when building cities. Its aimed more for builders than a hand held style map which has tons of roads and intersections limiting/deciding for you. Its just one big landscaped play area for you to do as you wish.
In one of the most in-depth expansions in Cities: Skylines history, Industry becomes a larger and more meaningful part of the game with this DLC. Players can build unique factories and customize their industrial areas with supply chains for the four different resource types. Well managed industry areas will level up and become more efficient. Aside from production chains, there is a new city service for handling mail and the cargo airport eases import and export of factory goods. There are FIVE new maps, new policies, new city services, new buildings (including resource extractors, manufacturers, warehouses and unique factories) and more
More freebies , which is what I love about this game.
You get it regardless, and you just gotta unlock it
Add to CAPI:
715194 = Cities: Skylines - Industries[/spoiler]
Anyone could write some mini-guide how to activate those CAPI codes? Do I only need to modify some game files? Need some program? HALP!
I know how to do it, but as the person above stated the usual place, RUS forum is dead. It's really easy to do, and yes you do need dll's to get it working, I have the base game on Steam and all the rip off DLC's are unlocked.
School is in session! Delve into higher education with this new expansion that allows you to design a custom Campus, specialize your school, engage in varsity sports, and build a prestigious University that will be the highlight of your city!
In case anyone is interested, there's a full yarr standalone release as per tradition (includes the billions of DLCs made in Paragreed): Cities.Skylines.Sunset.Harbor-CODEX
The guide is very simple. You download creamapi and use this userscript:
https://github.com/Sak32009/GetDLCInfoFromSteamDB
On SteamDB you have a big green button at the bottom right of screen -> Get DLCs list -> Download File. Copy creamapi's dlls (and rename original steam_api.dll according to what's written in the creamapi readme) and copy this file next to it. Start game and enjoy.
These two mods look rather neat. I'm pretty sure all the players going for details and looks will have a field day with them.
Well damnit. Looks like I am playing it again..LOL
Always bugged me I couldn't do that on some streets I feel I need to.

As said, it serves no purpose in terms of gameplay, but using these two mods alongside TMPE and MoveIt, it's a really pleasant distraction.
When I try to debug my problematic traffic choke points I always end up touching up my intersections. And then a couple others nearby. And that one also looks bland. And that one is a bit drab. Etc, etc.

Nothing amazingly spectacular, but it does serve as a pleasant distraction between building new districts.
Roundabouts are most effective without 90 degree or other sharp on/off turns. It's not always possible to do but when it can be done, it really helps with the flow.
That's where the node controller mod comes in. You can adjust the "size" of the intersection with it, and it will round out the edges, giving a much gentler curve. Previously you needed to add separate slip roads to do it, with this mod it's just a slider. Very handy.
On that roundabout I rounded down those corners. This is the vanilla intersection (except for the markings).
And the same one after just adjusting it with the mod.
And what's even more amazingly handy is that since the lane marker tool mod uses pre-defined nodes on the roads themselves, if you adjust the road with Move-it or the node controller, the markings automatically update themselves. That would be impossible with the old manual prop-line tool shenanigans where you had to put in every single line individually, and if you moved the road a tiny bit, it was all messed up. Now it's set-it-and-forget-it.
The Airports expansion allows you to build your own airport areas,

Cities: Skylines is a modern take on the classic city simulation.
The game introduces new game play elements to realize the thrill
and hardships of creating and maintaining a real city whilst
expanding on some well-established tropes of the city building
experience. You're only limited by your imagination, so take
control and reach for the sky!
