No Place for Bravery is an atmospheric strategic action oriented RPG in which a group of adventurers wanders through an eerie, devastated high fantasy medieval world fighting to survive after humankind was brought down by godlike entities. Heavily inspired by RPGs like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy, but also by purely action games like Devil may Cry and Dark Souls, the game focus a lot more on the “action" part of Action RPG. But Bravery goes beyond that. With a remarkable pixel art style, the game gets rid of all the grinding: Skinner Box mechanics and ''artificial'' stats-based progression have no place here. Each new character, skill or item adds a new mechanic or expands an existing one. The game features minimalist aesthetics and interfaces. Bravery is, more than anything, an organic experience. As the journey advances new characters will appear, as those who were killed or lost are gone. Our goal is to create an intimate and immersive experience: the game will be extremely hard and completely skill and strategy based. We want our world to be relentless. We want the players to feel their mediocrity before such a world
