STG-44's for everybody along with that other rare assault rifle. (FG something was it? Paratrooper rifle.)

Even in the campaign maps set before the guns were introduced no doubt.
Wonder which forces will be DLC, aside from the Japanese ones no doubt.
(Jungle fever 20$ DLC pack.)

(Simo / White Death unlockable heroic character 0.01% loot crate for the nazi gold premium currency. Razz )
(And that one Brit with a claymore and longbow.)

EDIT: To say nothing of what they can do with the experimental tanks and outright sci-fi never-left-the-blueprint air and land armored forces.
(Super heavy tanks and even more jet airplanes.)

EDIT: It's Battlefield though so if it's down to just ammo count then the PPSH is going to be very popular. Wonder if they'll get the Garand wrong too and require you to empty the clip for it to reload.

(Still won't top Medal of Honor and the heavy-armor MG-42 trooper, those weren't intended to be used like that heh.)

FG42 was the assault rifle for paratroopers

Looks like what I was thinking of was the Ratte but it was ultimately cancelled unlike the Maus though that too was problematic and only saw prototypes.
Didn't know they actually got into such a full production for the planes though, although too late for the war when most air space was already dominated by the allies and England was no longer a possible target.

EDIT: And that's the rifle yeah, every side worked pretty extensively modernizing and updating from early WW1 era guns to more modern designs and reverse engineering even if some of these didn't see that much active use and later on supply problems started being a issue.

EDIT: Ah right Battlefield 1942 Secret Weapons of WW2's expansion already dabbled in some more prototype designs although not the most crazy and realistically impossible concepts that A.H thought up and wanted to have.
(Seems they had a jetpack though.)

And then a spin-off into Vietnam next year and it's full circle.

Me 262 saw action but apart from futuristic look they were rushed and full of faults to be really anything but a last resort from nazis.
But that's reality, game though Laughing

And Maus would be at least easy to design and render Smile

Well it's a sized up box (Well, Panzer.) though it wouldn't work in pretty much any rough terrain and the speed well every bomber plane in the area would be able to precise hit the thing. Razz

Then again like you said for a game or game mode anything could happen.
(Capture the prototype or whatever.)

Even more so for the war story single player bits I assume where they just pull the thing from before with some of them being made up or dramatized for effect.
(Is Hitler in a mech copyright yet?)
(Might be too close to Heavy Metal Italian from before though.)

But multiplayer will probably have it's pitfalls and balance issues again, open beta should give a overview of how it actually plays at least and before they try to please everyone by updating the game to where anything works against anything. Smile
(Well it probably won't be that bad and some game balance will be needed of course.)

But first a lot more teasers, articles and exclusive Youtube and Twitch streaming sessions from popular channels.

EDIT: Well there's a lot of material and references to use but it's also been done over and over again in video games so Battlefield V is going to have to try pretty hard if EA is still trying to outdo Call of Duty.

Well full environmental destruction wouldn't be bad but it's probably going to be limited to major turning points for the online part as to not have everyone dig into little craters and go into sniper roles.

Playstation no? And I see they went for purple instead of orange this time.
(And they captured a new player pretty perfectly with that image too...)
(LOL don't need to look, pew pew! 360 no-spin!)

(Kinda like that Call of Duty 3 cover come to think of it...)

EDIT: And a live reveal tomorrow then.

Different flashlight design in Vietnam.

MX-991 used in vietnam had longer battery cover bottom. Also he has aviator goggles with separate oculars, where in Vietnam they used singular ocular goggles.

It's the FG42 and they had one demilitarized on display in my old Para-Barracks in Oldenburg/Germany when I was in the army 2000/01...I had the chance to shoot a K98 once and well, that FG42 feels waaaayyy different. More like a submachinegun, not an actual 'rifle'. Would have loved to shoot it, but well...demilitarized and our company sergeant major had to be 'in the mood' to let us guys actually take it out of its showcase and 'handle' it.

My grandfather used to be on several fronts in WW2 and saw A LOT of action, but all he ever got was the K98 and the MG42 (we had the MG3, which is almost an exact copy..and yeah, I can imagine how that weapon brought fear into the allied soldier's heart...)

He never had the MP40, never saw the STG44 or the FG42. However, he was really 'happy' with that K98 and he had some stories to tell about that one.

Well, to be correct, it was more or less Hitler's fault to order the Me262 as a 'bomber' and not as an actual attack plane. Yeah, it was late in the war, but that design-flaw-misconception made things worse.

It was able to carry one bomb, but this configuration as a bomber made all the advantages gained by the jet thrusters obsolete.

I guess we will see Spitfires, FW190s, Stukas, P51s? I doubt they will include big ass bombers like the flying fortress or such. Maybe on special air maps.

The Tiger and the T-34 as tanks for sure.

It's all about balance...

i dunno, they're kinda dropping hints on it being an alternative form of WW2, maybe versus Stalin a la C&C red alert, or something steampunky/futuristic.
