So, assuming that this will follow the generic idea of movies, bad guys coming, good guys fighting, bad guy lose etc, isn't Thanos the shit of MCU? I mean if they defeat him etc, who's gonna come in IW2 ?
Dude!!! But some good guys are going to die like Captain America and Iron Man and Thanos wins in the end of Infinity War part 1. He will only loose in the second part.
That's called screenwriting - check it in the dictionary!
Spoiler:
I'm being sarcastic but Thanos will left the Avengers crippled in the end of the first part and they will win over him in second part. Because that's mainstream comic books, maybe some people will be resurrected because you can't have the fan favs dead - it doesn't sell
Seriously why writers/studios can't risk for once to make a fucking movie where good guys, through lot of fighting and shit lose after all, so we can have some damn movies where evil/bad guys etc actually wins
Like 99.9% of the movies follow the same rule, starts bla bla, good guys are presented, some shit happens, bad guys coming, fighting x2, wow good guys win
I can't remember now a movie in which evil actually wins, there must be...right?
Except The Cabin in the Woods, that was fucking good, good guys dead all and in the end evil actually comes to surface, well no part2 for it but loved it.
Two out of the main three will retire from being superheroes.
Iron man will be crippled and become the man in the machine and just hide away from the world until he trains the replacement.
Cap'n America will straight up die just after thanos is defeated.
And the movie will end with a snap.
We will see the reveal of avengers 5 title which is coming out next year.

Scanners
Isn't there a law (a Federal Law) that states that only the good guys may win in a movie? Dunno if it's still alive, but it was till the 90.
There never was such a law.
It's just movies where the good guys win get more views.
It's always America fuck yeah. And they always win.
Because American audience hates movies where Americans lose or suck or are made fun off.
You want the people you root for to win. As a viewer.
Watching your protagonist get beaten to a pulp makes you get all ugh he better recover and kick assssss.
But there never was such a law.
There's movies where bad guys win all over the eras.
Just a lot of them aren't well known because... it's not what audiences want.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Bracing for flak for posting this here.. but I loved it and will go again. Not sure if going to the midnight showing was worth it to avoid spoilers, since it pretty much went down as expected. But still enjoyed myself thoroughly. Guess I should get some sleep now so I can maybe get some work done tomorrow.
oh wow , theyactually did the thing i never thought they would do in movie format :-O
well there's a sequel which is sad for me. would prefer it if they just left that as is lol.
besides, thanos was the only one that had more to his character. others like starlord and thor kinda regressed. all that character development in the other movies went out the window.
like in thor ragnarok, they had this big thing about mjolnir not being important because that's not thor's power, he doesn't need a weapon, and then bam he goes make a weapon first chance he gets.
starlord has also learned nothing and is played as a fool.
