Yep, knowing Microdicks i highly doubt they will release the Steam version anywhere close near the WinStore date.
On the other hand and if Prudis screenshot is real, then the Steam version is already there.
But again: Microdicks are so dumb and stubborn, they probably don't realise they are missing out on so many sales by not releasing it at the same time on Steam.

It literally took me till now to fill out that shit formular. Mainly because i just did other things while each next page was loading for 2min+
And why the fuck is a question like this relevant to a beta event for a game?

Only the host can select quests, for example, and it's not totally clear who the host is. Worse than this, you can only travel a short distance away from the host before the game pulls you back to your friend's approximate vicinity.
LOL , would have played it solo anyway , but this is just baaad
@Yondaime
Yep same for me: Still excited to finally play it, but not gonna buy this or anything else on the M$-Store
And since they probably won't release it on Steam at the same time, we are forced to isodemo it.

Ahh, console plebs. When even State of Decay appears as "ridiculously complex", they'd probably lose their minds trying to play some PC strategy/sim games.
Looks decent though, hopefully the winstore pos version gets cracked soon, could be a while until Steam version gets released.
I remember that the first one had pretty erratic mouse controls at release (among many other serious issues), but then it was eventually adjusted into something playable and responsive enough. Hopefully things will be better from the start here* also considering the engine switch (with multiplatform games/ports it's always a mystery though). I guess time will tell, I'm planning to go with the patient yarr zombie bear mode with this one
*unless the future plan is to churn out a fully patched-up State of Decay 2: Year Two, sold at a higher price than the original
