s03e04 was great! Not actually as short as I expected either! Cant wait for the season finale hopefully next month!
If only season 7 of The Walking Dead was as good
And I dunno what it is with season 3 but every single episode has crashed at least once!
Oh yeah forgot about Little Nightmares. Gonna have to get that. I'm tempted to get Statik on PSVR. After that I want Prey and Farpoint. Doubt I'll buy anything else after that until pay day in 3 weeks :/
Telltale says that Walker combat has gotten an overhaul. Meaning that the walkers will be wandering about and dangerous and that some fights aren't scripted. So you can run into a walker fight that's completely unplanned if you're being careless.
This example is really poor. The zombie is basically waiting to be attacked and isn't doing anything... If that's their random encounters then they really should step up.
Telltale Games and Skybound Entertainment announced that the first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season will launch later this year, with the opening episode debuting on August 14, 2018, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch release planned later this year.
The demo features the opening sequence of the upcoming season premiere and offers players their first chance to experience The Final Season‘s brand new combat, camera system, and art style.
I dropped out with season 2 ending and kenny walking into the sunset or whatever.
Was anything after this good ?

SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"
I thought they had been using motion capture but they are not, or if they are, they used a base that they are refining manually, and it still looks like shit sadly.
Even Life is Strange that had a low budget for a first game of its genre by a low profile french dev had motion capture...
Telltale Games, developer of the Walking Dead game, reportedly shutting down
Popular game developer Telltale Games is reportedly shutting its doors soon, according to co-founder Kevin Bruner. This follows the large layoff of staff back in November 2017, as well as a lawsuit by the aforementioned co-founder. According to The Verge, more staff were laid off earlier today, leaving only a small team of 25 employees. Additionally, The Verge reports that the dismissed employees did not receive any severance pay.
Kevin Bruner has published a statement on his personal blog, reflecting his sorrow for the employees that lost their jobs.
Today, I’m mostly saddened for the people who are losing their jobs at a studio they love. And I’m also saddened at the loss of a studio that green-lit crazy ideas that no one else would consider. I’m comforted a bit knowing there are now so many new talented people and studios creating games in the evolving narrative genre. While I look forward to those games and new developments, and continuing to contribute, I will always find “A Telltale Game” to have been a unique offering.
Telltale Games most recently released the first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season, with the second episode to release next week.

I found their batman game fun at the beginning, but by the end the illusion of choice was ridiculous. It's like all the story branches just folded back into the original plot in the next scene regardless.
Their games weren't for everyone. I enjoyed them but I think they kind of served their purpose. I think they should have finished Walking Dead at least though.
"Tonight, the game company's Twitter account posted that things might not be over for The Walking Dead, and said that "Multiple potential partners have stepped forward to express interest in helping to see The Final Season through to completion. While we can't make any promises today, we are actively working towards a solution that will allow episodes 3 and 4 to be completed and released in some form. In the meantime, episode 2 will be released tomorrow across all platforms as planned.
