So that's why I got so much sttuter.

I believe there was another game with this issue. If I recall correctly the solution was to play the game on the other monitor, or swap which monitor was primary.

Works pretty well ppl on the steam forums are saying anything above 1.5x damage to player disables iframes atm (i also got 2 shot a few time with 4 grinhurt) might be a bug in the ct table dunno to save the values open Nino2.CT with notepad+ and edit the following:

GodMode:
dq 0
OneHitKill:
dq 0
fEnemyDamageMult:
dq (float)0.45
fEnemyHealingMult:
dq (float)1.5
fHeroDamageMult:
dq (float)1.5
fHeroHealingMult:
dq (float)0
HeroCannotDie:
dq 0

done
Just set them to whatever you want, the settings above i got from the steam forums should be pretty balanced from my limited tests.

I don't know why but this codex release doesn't work for me. It's just crashes to desktop after a few seconds of white and then black screen. Anyone with a similar problem? Confused

Yeah, I'd tried it along with DS4W but the game wasn't detecting it.

Tried it one more time without DS4W and it works perfectly. Game also somehow seems to detect that it's a DS4 because it's displaying the proper button icons? Nice Smile

It's jarring how they've done it though. Sometimes conversations start with text only then all of a sudden you get some spoken lines, then back to text. This is main story stuff too not just some side quest. Very odd experience.

Overall the games good, just has some annoying flaws. The combat works nice with lower dmg in cheat engine (70% seems fine).

The RTS part is trash Laughing

I hate that kind of retarded shit. Embarassed

Either make it for example text-only outside cutscenes or make the whole conversation voiced.
But mixing both is just annoying as fuck. And for that there is really no excuse, besides being a lazy dev or their money ran out in the middle of development. Rolling Eyes

Idk bout u guys but im having a blast with this game. Havent had a game grip me this well since vanilla wow or diablo etc. it’s so well done visually/gameplay wise etc it actually makes you wanna play it to see what happens next and what new locations you can visit / do things in.

Had to settle for 1440p to get stable 60fps.

4k even with standard / no AA had drops sub60.

Annoying HDR issue though, as always gotta set w10 desktop to HDR like most games nowadays but ingame if i have res at anything other than 4k, i gotta set 4k then HDR enables ( can see the color change in menu ), then set it to my play res again. Gotta do this every time i start the game.

I would love to see an example where a continuous scene is a mix of full voiced and then text only. I haven't come across that. I've definitely had scene shifts where it goes from full voiced to text only, but never a mix of the two.

@WHEATTHlNS Ok? Just of the top of my head. When you meet the sky pirates the cutscene goes from text only, then a few lines voice overs, then back to text only. All the while you have no music or sound fx playing whatsoever. It's so bad feels like the whole scene is bugged out.

And just to reiterate I've already said I liked the game. It just has it's flaws.

It does not. When you meet the two kidnappers, it is all text with the occasional "voiced emote." It then transitions to a cutscene (introducing Tani) and then voiced story exposition. The same is true when you are taken to the Sky Pirates base. There is no "Oh Evan completely voiced his line. . .but Batu just voice emotes. . .and now they're back to full voicing lines. Weird." At best, there is a clear story beat transition where Evan talks about "uniting the world" and then everything is voiced after that, but that is clearly a design choice.

The game is flawed, however I don't think the above is where it is lacking. Would I have preferred a consistent structure to where the voice acting occurs, sure. However it's a JRPG from a small studio. . .this isn't SquareEnix.

Yes and even with the CE damage modification (1.5x player damage received and 0.5 Enemy which is the most balanced setting i've come across so far).

. . .and you didn't give one. As I said, your example does not happen (and this closest thing to it occurs when you meet Batu, not when you meet the Sky Pirates for the first time). There is no continuous scene that does that (at least so far in my playthrough). As I said, game has its flaws; no need to make any up out of whole cloth.

Yeah, those are separate scenes, and the voice emotes are a different thing.

The voices are basically your cutscenes/movies while the text part is back to being in the game.

Kinda like how in the Yakuza games it's basically just voice emotes and then text most of the time except for story cutscenes where it is fully voiced.

It's not really jarring as you can tell when it transitions.

Same here, the game So far is solid 60 fps on 1440p and even 1600p, 4k the game run about 30-60 fps for me...

It makes me wonder if PS4Pro version is truly 4k or just native 1400p-1600p upscale to 4k...

You can open the blue ones after learning a spell (at the spell researching/develop house thing) at level 3.
So purple might be even higher?

It is easy. At least until chapter 6. After that, you pretty much face all level 40+ monsters while you are low 30 level. Tainted monsters and bosses are fairly challenging if you are 5+ level below.

However, if you do sides/errands after each chapter, the game is very easy.

You can avoid the tactics tweaker menu to ignore extra resistance/damage output.

Currently in chapter 8. Have died few times as my characters are low 40s. Very enjoyable. Very Happy

Yep, the game's pretty easy but atleast MUCH BETTER than NNK1, as the 1st one was more of a "Pokemon-like" collectible and the mechanics confusing... Here you BITCH SLAP everyone you meet..

Chapter 3 or 4 after the first forest encounter right now in 4h. Hopefully it remains easy and even more with those tweaking things..."More Exp + More Quality Armor/Weapons + More attack" blabla...

Btw, i'm using Roland more than the rest...Because HE should be the frigging MC!..Though i know you can become anyone else by pressing up/down on the D-Pad (Using PS4 pad without InputMapper and it recognizes the buttons without issues, just like CUPHEAD), something i think the game doesn't tells you (YET?!)

Other than that, the graphics are lovely..No pixel saws on the characters, feels like ya watching anime... HOWEVER, the bad point of the game is that THERE ARE NO ANIME CUTSCENES (YET?!)..Wich kinda kills the mood (but sure, saves the developers to make 'em...)
