Wasn't there a similar scene in Far Cry 4 when eating at the table?

there was. You just had to wait for Pagan Min to come back, you finished the supper and that's it.

I've already bought the gold edition, the father edition and the collectors guide. Next up:
Hope county edition Smile

This will be a bitch to crack though Sad

I have to say... the graphics look quite good. The scene in a helicopter... that is the best looking mustache I've seen Laughing

From the impressions I've read so far it seems mostly good, apparently the leveling is out in favor of challenges however which I'm not too fond of but eh it depends on how it's implemented.
(Can't be any worse than what Just Cause 3 did with it's gear system at least.)

Also. (spoilers.)

Far Cry 2 handled it better I suppose, though explosive tipped crossbow bolts kinda make it less viable if you're going for stealth. Very Happy

Though yeah Far Cry 3 and onwards have always had the bow as a incredibly powerful weapon both from the players side and also for enemies although later enemy types do wear armor that negates the players effectiveness.
(Though at that point you have the .50 with silencer attachment anyway. Very Happy )

EDIT: Or Hitler's Buzzaw I guess, that thing in Far Cry 4 tore up anything in seconds.

https://www.twitch.tv/joshog is currently playing it and he's is stuck at a wing suit mission because it's not easy, but also because the fps is choppy. It also basically freezes in one spot.

His hardware:

Intel Core i9-7900X (10-Core) Extreme Edition
ASUS PRIME X299-A
64GB DDR4 3000MHz Digital Storm Performance Series
1300W EVGA SuperNOVA G2
2x SLI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB
1TB Samsung 960 EVO (SSD M.2)

Heh.
(EDIT: But as one comment pointed out it could be a SLI issues too.)

So do we have any facts on the coop yet?

From what I've read maybe two people can fully play the game from start to finish without the second player having any disadvantage such as losing weapons/inventory etc.

But its not clear, and this game is so overpriced.

In co-op mode, your friend or the person who isn't hosting doesn't keep story progress but keeps everything else.

The entire campaign can be played in co-op mode. Smile

You will be able to share health and ammo packs between you, but only the host will be able to accept missions, recruit and command Guns For Hire, and keep the progress gained in Hope County.

a to 4,2ghz oced quad core + ht + 980ti (which is still a great card) and you are surprised it runs well? even my old ass xeon with 3,7ghz is able to run everything at almost max details even nowadays at full hd and steady 60fps. actually i would be more surprised if any new game doesnt run well on my mediocre rig (or similar ones, the 980ti is almost on par with the 1070 [which is now almost 2 years old too])

long story short: we are at a technical point where no big steps are to be expected and it will still take good time for nvidias new generation to arrive (and im pretty sure that wont be a big step too, but we will see what they can do with a smaller size and new memory) aswell as it will take another 2-3 years till anything above a quadcore (with ht) will be useful for gaming. everything which doenst run well now on such a described computer is just lazy ass development (hello there almost any japanese dev)

Didn't people(well, most of them) continue to suck far cry's dick after fc3? Why are you surprised about the high score? I mean Fc4 has 84 on the same website...

I think they took down the towers and there's been a few other changes too, not quite as massive of a change as some other games have done but they've revamped a few things from what I've heard so far.
