Jumping on YT there are more than a few effusive previews of SoT that do not have the "sponsored video" tag on them.
Is this the new "IGN paid off . ." meme way of dismissing a game you don't think looks fun? "They're obviously being paid to enjoy it."

Just because they don't have the tag doesn't mean they aren't.
That's the new marketing go to after all - throw a few copies of your game around to Youtubers and Twitch Tards ™ and get millions worth of promotion for free.

Giving someone a preview copy of a game isn't the same as requiring them to be kind to the game. I've seen many streamers who flat out say they get far more previews/promotions than actually go up on their channels simply because they didn't like the game.
. . .this idea that the "excitement" some people have for the game is all astroturf is just really ridiculous.

Getting already forced visions where all of the most retard youtuber´s play this with their fat characters, especially those that sound like retard and look like retard while playing (which seems to attract millions of people) = gonna be huge success.

Why all the bashing ? I think this game looks nice, probably going to have alot of fun with it. But on the other hand the price is wayyy to much for a game like this. 30$ Max!

While I wouldn't describe this game as a hit, I find it fun. I'm not interested in playing it for many many hours on end, but it's a fun break between other games. Grinding the missions would get very repetitive, as I don't think the map is large enough and the missions aren't different enough to give a ton of variety. But in smaller sessions, it's fun.

Sadly, that's the majority of twitch/youtube. And for some reason it gets views. Always a struggle to find someone who can speak normally while playing a game and not tries to rape my ears.
