Three DLC episodes so far, no idea about the content added to the regular game though, if it exists there should be three short quests in chapter 10, a new dungeon later on and some other tweaks but I think this is in the PC version already.
(The first person camera view is available for example.)

EDIT: And there were two festivals but they have since expired, one for some carnival and the other as a tie in to Assassin's Creed, wasn't the most well received content from my understanding but outside of modding that means not having access to some extra weapons and outfits.

Slight update: I've searched and found a post (on cs.rin, by none other than fitgirl) claiming that story DLCs are still handled as DLCs and are also disabled in the 3DM frankenbuild. <Maybe> they can be enabled later, once we know the DLC codes (after release).

I can confirm that none of them work and that includes all of the new royal edition stuff it's also treated as dlc for some reason.

Heh Steam validation only kept around 23 GB of data, interesting.

EDIT: Yeah it's downloading from their servers but eh it's something at least.

Yeah someone on rin allrdy compared the files seems like 53 gb are new files which means anyone who downloaded the 3dm release has to redownload it if it get's cracked.

Guessing that's the new content from the Royal Edition of the game or what it was called, console patch for that was released yesterday I believe so the Origin data might have been fairly outdated to use as a basis for the full version.

Yeah but demo exe will probably not work so we have to wait for a proper crack as well.

I'm interested to see if the performance of the franken-version is better than the Denuvo-infested one.

Probably not, not even demo to 3dm worked you could load it but your save was totally bugged.

They report as incompatible and will not load, same with the system profile holding stuff like general settings (The non-graphics ones as those are in a .ini file which does work.) so yeah have to start over. ("Unsupported version.")

Also I guess big fat bird (Epic music here.) has a bit more to it, there's some rock with a few holes in it a bit away from big fat bird (Epic music here.) and some really off sounding track begins playing like you just transitioned to a dungeon or something. Razz

Probably a hunt, perhaps a hunt for big fat bird (Epic music here.) at that, or whatever the thing is. (Baha-mass? Ha ha probably not.)

The bonus content also unlocks, workshop content isn't all that great, worlds most uncomfortable work suit only gives a small buff to health and the crowbar can't really compete although it does break limbs a bit easier.
Other items are pretty nice though but the power armor (For pussies, according to a certain Duke.) set is likely quite overpowered early on along with some other gear you get. Car stuff is visual only but the paint is pretty nice looking.

Pizza thing is also quite powerful early on far as food buffs go, basic fucking tomaso (Bread, Tomato smear and ??? cheese from hell knows where and nothing else.) yet it gives you a pretty big buff. Very Happy

Suppose that's nothing new for console players who've had this for a while though, game is more of a journey though and not all that difficult although the added bosses look like they will put up some fight at least heh.
(Though I guess the millions of HP super bosses in the later games got a bit too crazy.)

Doesn't seem like it, neither the in-game content or the episodes you activate from the main menu. (Which is grayed out with the early 3DM release.)

KB / Mouse is just fine for the game.

I've played only few hours so far, still at the gas station in the beginning. I spend a lot of time just exploring the countryside and waiting for night to get to battle the nice monsters Razz

Beating level 40 monster @ level 6 was quite challenging, but felt epic Razz

The Origin preload ultimately was only partially compatible with the final data and it's missing the DLC content entirely.

From a verification of the files through Steam about 25 out of the 75 GB data in total was alright and the rest was invalid and had to be redownloaded.

High-res pack fared better though 50 of the 65 GB is just 4k BIK2 movie files in both Japanese And Ameircan (US) English localization and this was unlikely to be updated further.

There's also the method used to get the Origin version playable by using the Steam exe and a custom launcher though ultimately the entire base game proved to be possible to complete with no issues or stoppers although minus some of the content found in this new release of the game.

Not too sure how the in-game extras such as the dungeons and quests are affected though the bonus items and DLC episodes were unavailable. Heard mixed things about said DLC episodes though this also contained the new Comrades episode featuring a custom character instead of the three bros having little adventures on their own.

Four additional episodes and more patches that might nor might not change up the base game are also scheduled between now and somewhere in 2019 when the game will likely see a end of continued support and focus on well I guess Final Fantasy XVI is next though Luminous Engine will apparently be Square's main game engine from now on depending on games and target platforms so they're also using UE4 for a few projects. Yeah pre-order bonus weapons and such stuff, I don't think it's going to hold up very long but for a starter item it's pretty powerful compared to what you can acquire at this point.
Then there's the royal outfit which buffs you up nicely and the jacketless version renders stamina moot though some of the food buffs also remove stamina though temporary.

The armiger system should be interesting as well but that's a late chapter near the end of the game at the earliest from my understanding of how it unlocks even if the dungeon itself is available much earlier.

Royal edition content is also missing but the only thing noteworthy about it is the expanded chapter 14 and by the time you reach that you probably wish the game was allrdy over anyway at least that was how i felt Laughing
Still i would at least like to try the DLCs since i never played those so i hope CPY picks this up since they can't seem to resist cracking JRPGs.

The first mod for Final Fantasy XV improves loading times, stuttering and HD texture streaming
Quote:
Modder ‘Kaldaien’, best known for his incredible FAR mod for NieR: Automata, has released the first mod for Final Fantasy XV. This Special-K mini-mod improves performance, as well as loading times and texture streaming when using the High-Resolution texture pack.

According to the modder, the Steam version of Final Fantasy loads input icons synchronously any time it sees input on keyboard/mouse or gamepad. As such, Steam owners may experience additional hitches due to this issue. Thankfully, this mod works around this issue by preventing the game from seeing input events.

Furthermore, this mod includes a fix for excessive SteamAPI overhead that causes unusually long load screens and hitches during heavy texture streaming. As the modder claimed, these longer loading times are not caused by the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

Those interested can download this mod from here. In order to install this mod, all you have to do is extract the zip file into the game’s main folder. After installing it, you’ll have to press Ctrl + Shift + Backspace to open Special K’s config menu. Below you can find a screenshot showing how you can disable mouse and keyboard input.

https://www.dsogaming.com/news/the-first-mod-for-final-fantasy-xv-improves-loading-times-stuttering-and-hd-texture-streaming/

It's made by that little shit head though. Laughing

caved in and bought it on steam. played it for ~4 hours and i dont get it. it feels more like a Techdemo (or a interactive Movie maybe) then a game. The 4 Dudes are ... , i mean wtf? A lazy Photographer, a nerdy Cook and a bruty Brute and the Star, the Emo Prince with a bad Haircut. Dont care, pls fuck off. The "Openworld" is not so Open with Barricades here and there, and why cant i drive the Car offroad? And there is nothing there, inst it? Besides some Plants, Crystals and "Treasure". Story so far is..hmm dunno what Story?

So, my Question is - gets it better? Maybe im still in the Tutorial (some Journo is Blackmailing me blabla dont care pls fuck off) dont mind weird Asian Story or Characters (these Dudes are lame, and only that) and more Cindy please.

p.s. Cindy is nice J Browman
